gta san andreas las venturas casino location

gta san andreas las venturas casino location - win

Las Venturas + an Albuquerque based city for GTA 6

Everyone and their mother knows GTA 6 will be set in Vice City, but if they do change their minds and try to do another city, I would love for it to be set in Las Venturas. Las Venturas was always cooler to me than San Fierro in San Andreas because of its unique architecture and desert surrounding it. If they decide to make it this is how I would like the map to be.
Las Venturas: A city full of greed with casinos and fancy hotels.
Grand Canyon + hundreds of miles of open desert: A famous tourists locations and hundreds of miles of untouched desert where you can cook meth in or kill somebody without the rest of the world noticing.
An Albuquerque inspired city: A large city with a drug and gang problem, perfect for GTA. Also would be awesome if you are a breaking bad or better call saul fan.
Highway towns: Small towns with gas stations and motels dotted along the major highways.
Also another Idea: The map should not be an island instead if you drive too far a cut scene plays where you car breaks down and a towtruck tows it to the nearest Car shop.

The possibility of a new location

So there's alot of speculation as to what "a new location" actually means. Some are speculating that's its a new building and others speculating it's a new location. There are things people really aren't considering when it comes to this and I wanted to throw some arguments on the table rather than blindly agree or disagree with any of the current speculation.
GTA becoming standalone This could mean a few things. Firstly, Rockstar could simply be doing this to avoid any potential backlash from forcing players to pay full price for a third time. It could also mean that they're looking at turning GTA Online into its own independent title, where they eventually connect the entire GTA universe under one title. It's important to note that only 3 locations (technically) exist in the HD universe; Los Santos, Liberty City and North Yankton.
Development time Given that there was only 5 years between the two latest titles, 7 years is a considerable amount of time. If it's their intention to connect the existing HD universe, then it's plausible they've managed to remaster Liberty City in that time.
A new location The chances of them creating an entirely new location for GTA Online alone? Not very likely. When they create maps, I'd imagine their focus is solely on the next title. Releasing a new location into online would kill some interest for the next title.
North Yankton This is a common theory "because it's already in the game." Personally, I don't see them fleshing this out at all. Being realistic, where would you pull off a heist in a small Midwestern town? The same depository from single player? No.
Las Venturas and San Fierro Other common theories. There are reasons I doubt these locations. Firstly, Las Venturas is the gambling capital of the world. We've already had a casino heist, it's unlikely they'll focus another update around this. As for San Fierro, I feel the reason these locations weren't included in the HD San Andreas is because of the realistic reimagining of locations they've been doing. Considering they've primarily focused on the same few locations within their games, they've probably seen potential in San Fierro and Las Venturas as their own locations. Maybe I'm wrong and they've saved them for this.
Liberty City As I've said above, if it's their intention to use GTA Online to connect the HD universe, then this is the most plausible of all theories. There are drawbacks that I'd like to point out below.
The dual city problem The main issue with two cities is neglect. As it currently stands the updates for Online are infrequent with only two a year. When producing updates, they'd probably have to focus on one city or the other. You could argue that Los Santos had enough meat on the bone, but why would you bother with this location if it's no longer being updated?
An empty world Let's say hypothetically that they did add a new location, the focus would be around heists. Outside of that, then what? There could be potentially nothing to do. Sure, it's unlikely they'd release it as a bare bones playground, but expecting a new location, new heists and enough activities to keep you occupied in a new location is a bit much.
Progression What about everything you own in Los Santos? Will everything stay there and remain exclusive to that location? Or will some things carry over? There are benefits and downsides to both.
Heisting in Los Santos Now for a different perspective. Let's say we're not going anywhere, where exactly would be pull off a heist? Many things in Los Santos are now out of the question. This doesn't leave them with much room for creativity unless they go for a doomsday part 2 approach.
What are your guys thoughts? Do you feel that there are other points for or against the current speculation?
In conclusion, don't set your expectations too high. It's better to be pleasantly surprised than extremely disappointed

Yet another map expansion theory...

Yet another map expansion theory...
I've spent most of the last couple of days reading through interviews and compiling information and comments from various heads of Rockstar and Take two. I've boiled it down into this post that doesn't break any of the subreddits rules and hopefully can spark fun discussion.
What we know was going to happen:
-GTA V was supposed to receive a massive undead nightmare style DLC that overhauled the map %80-%90.
-This DLC was cancelled between 2014 and 2016 when all the rest of the SP DLC was cancelled. Was likely deemed unsuitable for multiplayer being a different version of the same map.
-Leslie Benzies spoke candidly about his dream of putting every GTA city into the map, and mentioning that the engine could easily handle it, before he left the company in 2016.
What we can assume
-Rockstar / Take Two are pretty unlikely to have reduced the scope of what they were planning as far as additional content go. With the cancellation of the Zombie DLC they very likely started in on some other equally large project that is more suitable for multiplayer.
-R* & TT are not just going to let their golden goose go stale with 10+ of relatively small updates. Even the biggest update, the casino, is kinda small and could have been made in a relatively short period of time by basically a skeleton crew of developers.
-Its very likely that the budget for GTA online productions increased from 2014 onward as the game made more and more money. Especially since rockstar games itself has continued to expand through that time.
-Both companies would have been aware from the outset how long they would have until their next slate of games. At the time red dead was ~4 years out and the next GTA game was ?? years off. GTAO was not originally meant to last forever but at this point it definitely seems like they intend to keep it around indefinitely. Especially with the mention that Online is being split off into its own seperate game file for the next gen release.
-The next gen version will almost definitely be a port of GTAO from the GTAV engine to the GTAVI engine.
What we can all reasonably expect:
-Most people will be very tired of Las Santos after 10+ years of only that map
-When R* and TT decided that GTAOnline was forever, likely somewhere around 2016/2017, they would have started coming up with plans to bridge the lengthy gap between then and the next game.
-Since Online is (basically) forever now it sounds like Benzies dream is going to pan out, despite his departure from the company, and the game will eventually get more maps worked into it. At the very least it sounds like it'll eventually merge with the GTAVI map which is rumoured to involve multiple islands.
What I expect (not necessarily hope):
-The last update for GTA Online Classic, the version from the ps4 and xbox one, will receive its final update which will include some new map to begin the process of bridging Las Santos with the rest of the grand theft auto cities.
-There will be no more updates to Classic after that but it will remain how it is for the foreseeable future.
-GTAO Enhanced will somehow act as a hard or soft reset of our characters. Either offering us a trade value transfer for all of our GTAO Classic purchases or just flat out starting again.
-It will come along with more or less a complete overhaul to the entire vehicle, weapon, phone system to modernize the whole thing.
-It would make the most sense to connect it to the San Fierro landmass first since that part of the map is relatively unchanged from the transition from San Andreas to GTAV. Only a little bit of shore would be replaced and it would slot in perfectly. Whereas adding Las Venturas would require a substantial alteration of its map to accommodate the additions the GTAV map made to Las Santos.
Where I talk about the map I've attached below, which I crudely placed together.
On the less optimistic and less awesome side we could just get section A as somewhat of a teaser for whats to come down the road.
I like to dream though and I'm dreaming of San Fierro being an entire doubling of the current size of the map. Complete with apartments, houses, CEO and MC club locations, arcades, nightclubs, garages the whole works.
Just look how nicely it slots in there beside Los Santos, almost like it was meant to be.

[TIMELINE] Analyzing The Past to Predict the Future - Everything We Should Consider on the Road to GTA VI

[TIMELINE] Analyzing The Past to Predict the Future - Everything We Should Consider on the Road to GTA VI
[QUICK MOD NOTE] This post was originally posted by Lenlfc on GTAforums, original post here. ALL CREDIT GOES TO HIM FOR ALLOWING ME TO DO THIS. It's extremely detailed and extensive, but it also gives a full look at previous leaks and speculation about GTA V, RDR 2, and the upcoming GTA VI. It's well worth your read if you're at all interested in speculation and leaks for GTA VI, considering it has a lot of information about how Rockstar has done things in the past, and how they may do things with GTA VI. It also has all of the confirmed information we have for GTA VI, like everyone has been asking for. Enjoy!
LENLFC will also be updating his original GTAForum's post often when new, reliable information comes out that is worth adding to his timeline.
TL:DR: This is very long. Please don't be mean if you think I went too far. I just wanted to be as detailed as possible, and compile as much evidence and proof as possible, so we can work out the most accurate and likely scenario. I've never done anything like this before. So please be kind.
Hi. So, Red Dead Redemption 2 has come and gone. Feels like forever we waited for it. Hard to believe it released almost 4 months ago. It's that time when many of us will start looking forward to the next Rockstar game. I have been on this site since the first leaks for GTA V popped up online. In that time, I have watched fairly quietly, barely getting involved. I've read a lot, and enjoyed it all, but never actively helped out. I want to warn you all that this post will be pretty lengthy, and as I'm not a regular poster, my formating or writing may not be the best. But I'm a big fan of Rockstar Games, and have a weird fascination with remembering small things. So I wanted to try my best to compile everything we know about how Rockstar go about making their games, what they have done in the past and do some crazy conspiracy theory like deducing to try to predict when, where and how we can find clues to GTA VI, and when they may announce or release it.
Firstly, I'd like to credit and thank Dan Dawkins. Many of you may not know who he is, but long story short, he's a journalist, and back in July 2011 he wrote an article in the magazine PSM3. In the article he predicted many things about GTA V (some correct, some incorrect) he researched all the available data and pooled it together, and used that to speculate about GTA V. That was a massive influence on me growing up, on how to speculate responsibly and use common sense to work out where a game or series may go next. So thank you, Dan!

FACTS

Now, onto the main topic. What do we know about GTA VI? Not a lot. Dan Houser recently said that they're thankful they're not releasing GTA VI while Trump is in office. While he's never actually quoted as saying they won't release it while Trump is in office, I think journalists used that for a catchy headline. But the point remains. GTA is heavily based on British satire of USA. The current political climate makes it very difficult for them to do this. If we take it literally, GTA VI won't release until 2021 or 2025, depending on how long he is in office. Unless I have my dates wrong. I'd be willing to bet they had 2021 in mind. However, my personal take on this was that Dan simply meant "thank god we're not releasing GTA VI in 2018" And knowing it'l take them years to even release their next game, Trump will no longer be President.
We also know Rockstar Games will make another GTA. And that is about it. If there is anything else concrete, that we know, that I have missed please let me know.

THE PAST

GTA V TIMELINE
Here's where we start digging and look to the past, what Rockstar has done before and try our best to work out their timelines and how they go about things. Now, in order to do this, I'd like to begin with GTA V, as that is when Rockstar Games transitioned into the one big game every 5 years, as opposed to the game every year studio.
April 20th 2009 the first ever build for GTA V was created. I'm not sure if this is when development officially began, or just the date of the first build. Either way, I doubt there is much difference. They were busy working on TBoGT at that point, having just released TLaD 2 months prior. This was discovered from the Build Log. I will go into detail on this later. However this wasn't discovered until 2014, I just thought it was worth putting here to stamp the timeline.
The earliest rumors for GTA V began on July 26th 2010, with reports of Rockstar researching locations in and around Hollywood. Rockstar declined to comment on this, saying they don't comment on "rumors and speculation". To this day we still don't know if this was legit, or otherwise. However the game did end up being set in Los Santos. So it was either true or coincidentally correct.
Next came the domain name leaks on February 25th 2011. That date might be off by a couple of days, but the original GTA V Leak Topic has it dated to the 25th. (Fun fact, this is the leak and topic where I signed up to GTAForums!) Very GTA sounding website names. After GTA IV introduced the internet to us, it was no surprise to think GTA V would expand on that, and the domain names registered sounded right out of a GTA game. This was proven true, as the websites did appear in game.
On March 8th 2011 more fuel was added to the GTA V fire, when the codenamed "Rush" casting call was leaked online. Like the website, they sounded like something out of a GTA game.
This was further expanded on the 29th of March when Take Two put out a private casting call, further hinting at development on GTA V being well underway.
October 5th 2011 In an Asked & Answered article, 2 users asked about the next GTA, with Rockstar replying with the following
“When are we going to see a new GTA????? #bestgameever” - received via Twitter“When's the new grand theft auto coming out?” - received via Twitter
Big, big shout to all Grand Theft Auto fans worldwide who we know are anxious to hear about what’s next for the franchise but we don’t have any news at this time. All we can say is, right now, we’re focused on our next upcoming releases which are Max Payne 3 as well as L.A. Noire for PC, Red Dead Redemption Game of the Year Edition and Max Payne for mobile devices. When and if we have anything to report regarding the Grand Theft Auto franchise, you know that we’ll do so here at the Newswire or on our Twitter or Facebook.
And then it happened. GTA V was officially announced on October 25th 2011 at 12pm BST, linked below.
https://twitter.com/RockstarGames/status/128788090969001984?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E128788090969001984&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fgtaforums.com%2Findex.php%3Fapp%3Dcore%26module%3Dsystem%26controller%3Dembed%26url%3Dhttps%3A%2F%2Ftwitter.com%2FRockstarGames%2Fstatus%2F128788090969001984%3Fs%3D20
This announcement came only 20 days after saying the above on October 5th 2011
This goes to show that Rockstar can say one thing, then surprise us weeks later.
The first trailer then debuted on November 2nd 2011
Everything past this point, until release I feel is not relevant to this discussion. It is more to do with post announce schedules and marketing, and when to expect news or updates or trailers for an already announced major game. If this topic does well, I could add it, or put it in a spoiler box so it's optional detail. Otherwise the next points worth talking about come into play upon release, and where Rockstar go after this.
September 17th 2013 GTA V finally releases. We rejoice.
October 1st 2013, two weeks after the launch of GTA V GTA Online launches.
This is where it gets interesting and complicated. We know now that their next game was Red Dead Redemption 2. However, Rockstar weren't finished with GTA V. Many people claim that Rockstar stopped caring about their fans and gamers, citing images like these
You can actually pinpoint the year Rockstar discovered microtransactions.
Now, I bring these up, as it is important to understand just how Rockstar now operate. Love it or hate it, but GTA Online has allowed Rockstar to not release games as often. Allowing them to work on one game as Rockstar Studios, where they all work together, instead of separate teams, like Rockstar North (GTA) and Rockstar San Diego (RDR) for example. The income from GTA Online has seemingly allowed them to spend 5 years working on Red Dead Redemption 2, perfecting a masterpiece. Allowing them to make the game they wanted, and allowing them to take all the time necessary to innovate and make a living breathing world even more so than GTA V did.
Some time in January 2014 the GTA V Build Log was found. Apparently it was on the game disc, and dedicated fans dug into the files and found it. I bring this up, as it reveals some key interesting details. such as the date of the first GTA V build/when GTA V development began. This is important as we can use this information later to try to work out when they may start their next project.
Throughout 2014 Rockstar were hard at work developing the PC, PS4 & Xbox One versions of the game. I don't know how much work that would be, but they weren't simple upres versions of the game. They included new features and plenty of big enhancements. The PC version was delayed into 2015 for added polish. And leslie Benzies took a sabbatical on September 1st, for 17 months.
The next key detail to note is from January 2016, I think. Leslie Benzies leaves Rockstar North. I feel this is important to note, as it could have delayed a lot of Rockstars plans, as a lot of staff left with him, Rockstar would go on to deal with a lawsuit which could only be an unnecessary distraction. There was a topic here on GTAForums discussing it. Needless to say the whole situation was pretty shady and the details don't really matter too much.
Rockstar had also planned single player DLC for GTA V, multiple datamines suggested 3 packs, as well as Ash735 on Neogaf confirming this. We can take this with a grain of salt, but if it were made up, then it's a pretty dull and uninteresting thing to make up.
They had also promised Heists for GTA Online, which was quickly becoming very popular. I personally believe (And this is where speculation begins) that the SP DLC was the unfortunate victim in all of this. They HAD to get the next gen versions out, as if you're launching an online game, you can't rely on players sticking with old consoles when the next gen consoles launch only 2 months after GTA Online launches. They had to get Heists out, which were promised before the entire game even released. More so than the SP DLC, which was just a closing line on a Newswire article, albeit multiple times. And development on their next game ramping up, going into full production, combined with the restructuring of Rockstar North due to Leslie Benzies leaving... SP DLC may have been an unfortunate victim.

GTA V launches on PS4 & Xbox One on November 18th 2014

Rockstar Games are now done with development on GTA V, now solely focusing on GTA Online updates, in terms of Grand Theft Auto
April 3rd 2014 Thanks to @EVOLUT7ON for bringing this to my attention. In a Q&A with DJ Whoo on BallerStatus, he allegedly reveals he will be in the next GTA, which will be in Liberty City again. BallerStatus. And thanks to iNero for his topic.

RDR2 TIMELINE

August 2013 Roger Clark's first day on set, for Red Dead Redemption 2
Roger Clark: "My first day on the project was in August of 2013. With the context of this particular installment, I was the first to come on, apart from Rob and Ben who worked on the previous chapter."
4th September 2014 Rockstar San Diego start hiring for next gen consoles. They allegedly went on a hiring spree for an upcoming project. Which we would later find out to be Red Dead Redemption 2.
December 11th 2014 Actor Jorge Consejo posts a selfie on Instagram, wearing a typical mocap or performance capture suit. However it doesn't match the one used in GTA V
September 2015, [Original Source] Rockstar started hiring for more jobs. They seem to relate to a stealth based game, but so far they haven't released anything that would indicate what they were hired for.
Then the leaks start happening...
November 29th 2015 An ex Rockstar employee hints that RDR2 is their next project. The infamous “Really, Dumbass. Really? Two“ comment by Danny Ross, on Reddit. Archive of actual post
April 13th 2016 the map for RDR 2 leaks on NeoGaf. This was unprecedented. The map for a huge open world Rockstar Games game has never leaked online 6 month before the game was even announced. Link to the map.
October 18th 2016 Rockstar finally announce Red Dead Redemption 2, after teasing in the days leading up to the 18th.
July 27th 2017 Stuntman, Tim Neff's online resume leaks that he worked on RDR2 and GTA VI. He denied involvement in RDR2, but claimed he worked on GTA V, and that it was a mistake. He also had personal instagram photos from Rockstar San Diego, with captions strongly suggesting he was there for work. He denied it, saying it was just a photo taken outside that anyone could take. He quickly removed them. He was not credited in GTA V, but by RDR2's release he is indeed credited in RDR2.
Friday September 29th 2017 A reddit user posted a thread mentioning a recent leak which had been deleted. I do not know the date that it was originally posted. But it was over a year before the game released. And was entirely accurate. these leaks will serve a purpose later on.
December 25th 2017 GTAForums User @Jabalous brings to our Attention the actor Jorge Consejo, his previously mentioned Instagram selfie, and his CV/Resume. Which mentions min being in GTA 6, playing the role "The Mexican" (Featured).
CGI meaning motion capture work, etc.
In April of 2018, I'm not sure of the date, maybe the 18th? The article has since been removed. But I copied the article into a notepad file. Trustedreviews.com published an article based of a memo and some notes about the game. They claimed to have received this information in August 2017, but didn't post it due to fears it was fake. It wasn't until Rockstar released a screenshot that matched one that they had also received that they decided to publish this information, now believing it to be genuine. Here is an image of the text copy of the article (reddit formatting issues)
November 1st 2018 Rockstar sue TrustedReviews for £1M Essentially proving the leak to be true. Although the game itself proves it to be true, it's interesting that Rockstar sued for that much. Or sued at all.
January 6th 2019 Rockstar start hiring for next generation
Rockstar's career opening page - Credit to @el carlitos for that one!
-----------------------------------------------Unconfirmed Speculation-----------------------------------------------
January 30th (Specific date still debatable) Film Florida have guest Leah Sokolowsky on their podcast. She briefly mentions a recent change in her work
Recently as you're aware we've had a change in the types of productions that are coming to our state. So I've also been very fortunate to get a large client that has hired me to arrange basically site tours and visits. It's uh digital media company. And I've signed an NDA so I can't disclose who it is. But they've been exploring various areas of our state, and of other states in the south east. And I've been planning and arranging those visits for their personnel and that's been kind of a very interesting expansion of what I normally do, as well.
Here's the link to that quote.
It's suggested this is Take Two Interactive/Rockstar Games, as a reddit user claimed on October 6th 2019 scouts were looking around his area, and asked for permission to take photographs of the building. Which was later followed up by a photograph of an alledged document/contract as proof on October 8th 2019
-----------------------------------------------End of Unconfirmed Speculation-----------------------------------------------
February 13th 2019 VP of product development Jeronimo Barrera departs Rockstar Games after 20 years. This might not seem anything significant, but it's one of his quotes that I think it very important.
"If I had stayed at Rockstar it would have been more GTAs, more RDRs and less of this other stuff going on out there right now." While that is nothing concrete. It does indicate that Rockstar will be working on Red Dead and GTA for the foreseeable future. That won't surprise many of us, but it's just a little detail that gives us hope that GTA is next, and not another franchise like Bully, L.A. Noire or Max Payne, for example.
April 18th 2019 a former Rockstar India employee has mention of creating vehicles for GTA V and upcoming GTA 6 in his artstation resume Thanks to ApolloThunder's post.
Now those are the most important details I feel. Now I may have missed some other details people might find important. In August of 2017 the stunt actor Tim Neff was involved in a alleged leak for RDR2 & GTA 6. It was quickly 'debunked' Although many believed there were holes in the methods used to debunk it. And his removal of Instagram photos taken at Rockstar San Diego was suspicious to many users. I do not believe it holds enough water to use it as any evidence. But we can use it to speculate.
July 9th 2019 Jorge Consejo likes and quotes a tweet about him being in GTA 6

Now We Use All This Information to Speculate

The first clues we should look for are reports of Rockstar scouting locations. We know from articles and or interviews that Rockstar take thousands of photographs when creating their worlds, so any reports of Rockstar Staff i researching locations should be a very good indication. However, they can be very secretive.
Same goes for Rockstar or Take Two registering domain names or sending out casting calls. So far we've heard nothing of the sort. again, we don't always hear these things. I don't recall hearing anything about casting for RDR2 at any point between 2012 & 2016.
Combined with the fact that Rockstar only just released RDR2 4 months ago. I think it's pretty safe to sat development on their next game hasn't fully begun yet, or will do very soon. If we look back to the build log for GTA V, they created the first build on April 20th 2009. pretty much one year after GTA IV released. By that logic the first build for GTA VI would have been created in September 2014, right? Well, considering they had to work on the next gen and PC versions for so long. I'd wager they started much, much later. We know that these days Rockstar operate as Rockstar Studios, all working together on one game at a time. But if the NeoGaf user is to be believed, pre production for GTA VI began in 2012, which is actually entirely believable. As Rockstar began work on RDR2 almost immediately after RDR1. "In early 2011, Dan began chatting with Rockstar San Diego about how Red Dead Redemption 2 would look and who the characters would be. Late that summer, he says, he had a “broad outline and rough flow of the game defined.” By fall 2012, his team had completed rough scripts for many of the game’s missions and started doing read-throughs on video conference calls with directors of game play, art design, and animation from Rockstar offices around the world. " Source
Now, unlike Red Dead Redemption, Grand Theft Auto is not a game about specific characters, like RDR is with John and Dutch's gang. So It's safe to say after GTA V, the Housers did not sit down and come up with scripts or ideas for GTA 6 revolving around those characters. But never say never. They could use this as an opportunity to bring back Michael Franklin & Trevor, working of some of the ideas for the Story DLC for GTA V, instead of scrapping it entirely. For the first time ever, GTA could be a direct sequel using the same protagonists. This however, I believe to be incredibly unlikely. But I thought it was worth mentioning.
So, they've finished RDR2. What Are Rockstar doing now? I believe they're hard at work on the PC version of the game. Many people don't believe it will release on PC, citing the fact that RDR1 never released on PC as evidence. I don't believe that is fair, as we know RDR1 was a mess, and was in such a bad state that they were lucky to release it at all. Rumours and alleged leaks stated the game was a coded mess, and they weren't willing to go through all the hassle of porting it to PC. We also know PC games typically have a high paracy rate, and Rockstar aren't fond of spending all that development time and cost on such an effort for little reward. Here's a clip of Lazlow talking about releasing their games on PC, and joking wanting to make their money back first. It's from 2010, right before RDR1 released. I think he was making a joke, but hiding the truth in there. Which leads me to believe that RDR2 could come to PC, but in order to make their money on that, also release it on PS5 & the Next Xbox, like they did for GTA V. Considering the gap between GTA V on PS3 & 360 and GTA V on PC (19 months) we could see a similar gap with RDR2 on PC. If that is the case, we could see a PC release in May 2020. At which point next gen consoles would likely have been announced, assuming Sony repeat their February reveal as they did with PS4. Or soon to be revealed at E3 a month later. It's not beyond the realms of possibility that they re release on Next gen with native 4K on PS5, higher frame rates, or other enhanced features. Next gen consoles will be backwards compatible, but if they want to keep RD Online going, a newer version with higher player counts could be a good option.
Speaking of next gen consoles, until specs are set in stone, I don't think Rockstar will announce anything. Dev Kits are allegedly being sent to some developers right now. Sony first party studios are already working on PS5 games. Guerilla, for example. I'd wager Sony's relationship with Rockstar is a good bet to think they have them, too. So, what does this mean?
Well, let's look at when Rockstar announced RDR2. 18th October 2016. 18 months after the PC release of GTA V, 3 years, 1 month after the initial release of GTA V. Lets assume they stick to a similar pattern, both GTA V & RDR2 were announced in October. It could be a good bet for what month to expect an announcement. However, GTA IV was announced in May 2006, with Peter Moore's infamous Tattoo. So...
Now let's look at when Rockstar started hiring for RDR2, which was September 2014. It took them 2 years to announce their next game. And they had the base map planned out within 19 months. We just don't know when the photo of the map was taken, just when it was leaked to the public (april 2016). But we do know Rockstar always start with the world. For GTA V, that discussion started as GTA IV was wrapping up – almost five years ago – although the latest game has been in full production for just three years.
“It comes from the idea first,” Benzies tells us in his office at the studio.
Where is it going to be set is the first question. Then that defines the missions; you’re doing different things in LA than in New York or Miami. The map and story get worked up together, and the story is a basic flow of how it works out so you can layer the missions in. Source
I think we can safely say that Rockstar already know where the game will be set, and Aaron Garbut is already hard at work at creating a concept of a map. If he hasn't already.
Based of that information, I'd say Rockstar are hiring for their next game, which will be PS5 and Next Xbox exclusive, Likely to be GTA 6, and will need 2 - 3 years of development before they are able to reveal it with a trailer. Putting the game at a 2021 - 22 reveal, with a 2023 - 24 release. I do believe the upcoming generation, and Rockstars desire to outdo themselves every time will only slow them down. Their games take so long to develop, and I can't see them putting out GTA 6 in the same timeframe as GTA V, from GTA IV. More likely to be similar, if not longer than GTA V to RDR2.

The Leaks

Remember when I said the leaks would serve a purpose later on? I find it highly suspicious that Rockstar had leaks as substantial as they had for RDR2, when they never had anything to that level before. They are usually incredibly watertight. So let's speculate as to why...

The Benz.

Isn't it strange how such a long time influential figure at Rockstar North was fired, and then leaks start popping up for their next game? It's no secret that there was more to his firing that we initially thought. Things went really bad between The Benz and The Housers. I think when he left the company, and many of his staff left, too. A lot of disgruntled employees may has decided to spill the beans on their next game out of spite. The entire game map leaking 6 months before the game was even announced, Epilogue spoilers down to finite details such as building a house or birthing a foal? Way too specific, and that's never happened for a Rockstar game before. I just find that suspicious.
So, why is that relevant to GTA 6? Well, it may end up not being relevant at all. But then I remembered the leak from last year, that stated GTA 6 was set in Vice City. Back then, I didn't believe it at all, as it was way too detailed for a game that wasn't even announced, and wouldn't be announced for at least 2 more years. Likely double that. Plus why did they choose The Know? And an anonymous source is always suspicious. But hey, nobody would be dumb enough to give their actual identity if it were legit.
But then I started thinking a while ago, at how detailed the RDR2 leaks were, and maybe, just maybe the person who tipped off The Know was legit, and the info was based of what was in pre production from 2012 [Unofficial Source]. The more I thought about it, I realized that Vice City, with the concept of crossing the border to South America is a simple enough concept that could have been decided upon during pre production (the world is the first thing they decide, remember?)

Why Vice City

2 reasons why it's starting to feel like a likely location. Reason one, GTA Online. They introduced businesses and gunrunning into GTA Online, and a lot of people enjoy that stuff. Vice City would be a great location to create content around that concept. I don't believe Rockstar would pick a location based on what would make Online popular, but after GTA Online's huge popularity after GTA V, they'd be stupid to ignore it. Reason 2 was the quote Dan Houser gave about not releasing GTA 6 during Trumps presidency. Again, I believe it's taken a little out of context, but it's his words about satirising America is what caught my eye.
"Both intense liberal progression and intense conservatism are both very militant, and very angry. It is scary but it’s also strange, and yet both of them seem occasionally to veer towards the absurd," Houser said. "It’s hard to satirize for those reasons. Some of the stuff you see is straightforwardly beyond satire. It would be out of date within two minutes, everything is changing so fast." Source
Then there was this quote from Leslie Benzies, also covered in The Knows video:
IGN Source
Any chance that Vice City might return in a future GTA?
It is always a possibility. There are a few references to the city in our current-gen GTAs so it is part of that HD universe, and it is certainly somewhere we would love to revisit. However Vice City, perhaps more than any other GTA game, was as much about the era as the setting. Miami in the 1980’s is so iconic it would feel strange to revisit the city in a different time period.
exploring grand theft auto vice citys lasting impact on gamer culture with rockstars leslie benzies city cover. Of course at some point we would like to have one big world containing all our cities and let the player fly between them and revisit their favorite areas, and in that context reimagining Vice City would be very interesting.
So according to Rockstar, albeit someone who is no longer at Rockstar, it would be strange to go back to Vice City in a modern day setting. If you combine that with what Dan Houser said about parodying America today, and how difficult that would be, is it possible that the next game could be set in the past? Again, combining those quotes, with alleged leaks, and the possibility for fun and exciting gameplay and Online experiences... Vice City is an incredibly likely setting.
The only problem is GTA 6 going into pre production in 2012. If the location was decided upon then. It would either be a happy coincidence, or they may have changed the location. Or, it never was Vice City, and this speculation is clever, but ultimately wrong.
One key piece of information is the Neogaf user, who allegedly states that it WON'T be Vice City. Citing that production notes going around when he still worked there stated possible locations and concepts. And that it is likely one of the 4 options listed in the quoted thread.
Small town gta - tight stories, scheduled characters, ridiculous levels of ambience, every home interior modelled. Every building enterable. More realism - if your wanted you are on the run for a while.
Vegas 1970s- CASINO?
Somewhere snowy - chicago/detroit
Mexico City
You have to consider that what they may have decided in 2012 changed, due to the popularity of GTA Online. They could have chosen a smaller, more detailed interactive world. But due to Online, decided they needed a larger world. Or the location wasn't right due to modern politics and ability to satarise, etc.
I do think GTA could return to the past eventually. Sam Houser has an incredible knowledge of pop culture, and is very intelligent. It would work well for them to go back to an older setting for a GTA game again. That isn't proof of that, or even a solid reason for them to do a prior setting. His knowledge can be used in any setting, past or present. But it's an interesting piece of information to think about.
Another possibility is Dan's words were as simple as GTA 6 won't release while Trump is in office, and therefore GTA 6 will be set in the present day, but by then the political climate may have settled down, or they think/hope things will be different by then, and what they choose to parody will be easier. i don't know.

How about Las Venturas?

For the past few months, I've been thinking about the possibility of GTA 6 being set in Las Venturas. It's one of the locations mentioned as a possibility by @Ash_735 It's also a location that would be quite large, although not hugely diverse. However creative freedoms could solve that. If they return to a past setting as theorised. Then Las Venturas in the 70's or 80's could be seen as a pretty cool option. Like a lot of people, I'm a fan of Joe Rogan. Recently he had a guest on his podcast, Bob lazar. Whether you believe him or not is irrelevant. But he tells some interesting stories about working near Area 51, and working on alien UFO's. that really got me thinking... Wouldn't that be a perfect location for Rockstar to have some fun with? GTA V and RDR2 both featured UFO easter Eggs. There was a lot of mysteries tied to Mt. Chiuliad and Fort Zancudo. Can you imagine Area 69 returning, and what Rockstar may do with that? Now I fully understand that saying they may do a certain location, based of nothing other than easter eggs is a bit silly, but what else do we have? However, it does tie in with the notes (Vegas 1970's Casino?). Before RDR2 we never believed Rockstar would create a game, and build of a previous games map. After RDR2, we now know it's possible. I'm still not convinced they'd do it with GTA, as the GTA series is always an island, whereas RDR1 was a landlocked location. However, it is possible, however unlikely that they could build of Southern San Andreas and go east to Las venturas.

My theory for GTA online

My theory for GTA online
So everyone is very much furious and annoyed that R* decided to show GTA 5 trailer at sony's PS5 event. Even if you've been living under a rock, if you just go to any of their social media pages you can see fans being very angry at the announcement. However at the very end if the trailer they mentioned "Expanded and enhanced" and thia is my theory on what i feel it means.
For GTA online we've been getting a DLC every year. We got heists update in 2015, bikers dlc in 2016, I/E, smuggler's run and doomsday in 2017, after hours and arena wars in 2018 and the diamond casino heist update in 2019. Needless to say looking at the pattern we can expect a new dlc update this year, also the fact that wendy is a contact on our phones but does nothing now proves the point that there is going to be a DLC involving her(speculation).
I think that the whole "Expanded and enhanced" thing means that we are going to get a map expansion. Now hear me out, the present map is okay but it's just one major city paired with a countryside area. If you just go online and look at the bucketlist fans want in GTA6 two most prominent thing that pops up is more locations to explore and more interiors to explore. There is this possibility that one sane person at R* would have mentioned that it's been 7 years and we are still playing with the same map, atleast expanding the current map and providing more interactive interiors for the online mode would be a good idea.
Now here's my theory of which map/city would be added to the current map in GTAO. I think they'd add Las venturas to the current map. For those of you who are too young to know what las venturas is, it was a major city in GTA San andreas, the only other game to have los santos. Las venturas is based on Las vegas and in GTA SA you had the option of going to multiple casinos and gambling your money away. GTAO has added the diamond casino feature and it has been amazing and almost everyone likes it. The fact that you could win a new car every week or make money through luck has been a n absolute pleasure. Not to forget the casino heist and agatha's missions. So it only makes sense that R* would add something more like it and what better place to add than a city where you can find more casinos than normal buildings.
What do you think? Which city do you think would be added to GTAO?
P. S:- Again this is just speculation and my theory of what i believe R* might do. I do not have access to any inside information nor do i have information from ex-R* employees.

Bbb

I'm leaking everything I know about Grand Theft Auto VI.
After seeing what Schreier said about the next Grand Theft Auto being early in development and all the garbage MrBossFTW videos, I decided to ask my friend who started to work at Rockstar in San Diego 4 years ago and has been involved in the development of the game since late 2017 to give me some details about it. Everything he said to me about the game just seemed completely unreal, and after being quiet with this info for more than 3 days now, I can't stop myself from just telling this to the rest of the world. If what he told me is true, then this post might get deleted very quick, so try to copy & paste it somewhere or just screenshot it, also there might be a chance that Rockstar will change some things in the game because of it, and that my friend will be very angry at me and will maybe get suspended from work or he's trolling me and this is just another day of fake GTA VI news, but to me it's just too detailed to be fake. I'm also using a throwaway account. So with this out of the way let's start. The game is 70% finished. The first mentions of the game started way back in late 2011, when the Grand Theft Auto V trailer was launched worldwide. The plan was to make it the biggest game ever, something that nobody has ever seen before, with multiple cities, multiple protagonists, open interiors, realistic mechanics you get the point. Basically the ultimate game and they set it for late 2018, however the game was too heavy for the PS4/XONE hardware, and they also realized they wouldn't finish it in time with Red Dead Redemption 2 being developed around the corner. So they decided to split teams (I don't know the studio names so i will be just saying Team A, B etc) - Team A will be developing RDR2, Team B will be finishing GTA V, Team C starting the development on GTA VI and Team D was operating the next Grand Theft Auto game, which was supposed to be not a full blown sequel, but more like a spin-off (Vice City style - with around 50 missions and one protagonist on the V engine) and release it in 2016, set in areas different from what we saw before (very possibly London, they even left a hint of it in GTA V in that skate park graffiti or whatever it was), however this was scrapped in 2014 and replaced with a TBoGT/TLaD style DLC for GTA V, however this was again scrapped in 2015/16 when they realized how much money they make and can make with Online, so they decided to release bigger DLC's with something that has never been really experienced in GTA (here's the whole thing with MK2 Oppressors etc) and all the money that GTA Online made then was used for GTA VI. So when Red Dead Redemption 2 was finished in 2017, they started to fully focus on Grand Theft Auto VI. They even tested the features that they wanted in the next GTA by placing them in GTA V and RDR2 (I'll say them later). Now I will jump into everything that has currently been developed. The game is set in three different decades in three major cities surrounded by minor ones, with one protagonist for each decade. 1980s (I don't know the exact years but I think it will be something around 1983-1985 because of Rockstar's love for De Palma's Scarface) Vice City fully based on Miami, Medellin (wasn't told of R's version) and some areas in Bolivia and Cuba. Then 1990s (1996 exactly) Liberty City fully based on New York City (this time it will be missing that Soviet-era vibe that was present in GTA IV) and Carcer City based on Chicago with Detroit elements, and finally modern day San Andreas (Los Santos, Blaine County, San Fierro, a big desert town that I don't know the name of, and Las Venturas with missions in modern day Liberty City and modern day Vice City). Now, you won't be able to switch between protagonists like in V. The game will feature time jumps like in Red Dead Redemption 2 (this was actually tested there with the switch from 1899 to 1907), when you finish the 1980's campaign you will jump into the 1990's campaign and then when you finish that you will jump in the modern day campaign. Also, the area unlock system will return, the one that has been present in III, IV, SA, you know, the one with areas blocked until you complete a part of the story. You won't be able to access LC and Carcer before you started the 90's campaign and you won't be able to access the San Andreas before you started the modern day campaign. Now to the caflight mechanics and weapons. I presume some of you may know the mechanics and weapons if you read a leak posted by one of the game testers (he tested just two areas - VC and Carcer). The weapons will change their design during the space between the three campaigns, and there will be many, MANY weapons. Three times the size of V. I wasn't told every single one, but weapons like the Glock, a chainsaw and flamethrower will be returning and some new weapons will be added, the only one I know is the MP5. The car mechanics will be very advanced. For example, a fuel system in a car will be present (similiar to the one used in Mafia II Definitive Edition) and every single vehicle will have more or less fuel, if you steal a car from a pedestrian it will have a random amount of fuel, and if you break into one it might not even have any. The handling is completely reworked and was done with Hangar 13 who have done Mafia III's handling which is in my opinion the best vehicle handling in a game currently. That's all I know to this. And to the flight mechanics will feature a simulation mode and a regular mode. Didn't ask for details on this, but probably a FS2020 style flying and the GTA V style flying. Entering the physics and features. The same ragdoll system used in RDR2 optimized to fit the modern world, object destruction is going to be introduced (yes, you will be able to destroy buildings and this will have major consequences in the game's world, some of them will be very hard to destroy, some of them very easy and some of them won't be destructable at all, I'll tell later but you probably know by now) which will be very present in the ghettos of Carcer City. You will be able to put corpses and alive pedestrians in your trunk, and now murders will have effects. Remember the feature used in Online, that when you steal a car a guy messages you "You stole my fucking car, now you will pay!" type of message? Yeah, this was a test for GTA VI feature. When you murder someone, there is a possibility that some pedestrian will try to kill you for retaliation, or do some harm to your operation. Depends on the importance of the person you will kill (don't know how this system works, but possibly if you kill a gang member you will get drive-by'd or if you kill some random guy a friend of his will try to murder you) and the location and time. The wanted system is reworked, with six stars returning and the six star response is the military. Also, the police's reaction will depend on the city you will be in and the crime you will commit. And the same system that was featured in Mafia III or Watch Dogs that the you have to be snitched on for the cops to appear will be introduced. Interactions will return from RDR2 but more advanced, and for the first time ever a reputation system. I don't know about it that much, nor my friend does, but basically something like this - if you will make a name for yourself in the city the cops will recognize you and peds will fear you. Gunshot wounds and stab wounds will have effect on the player's movement and other, like if you get shot multiple times you won't be able to hold a heavy gun due to your injuries, and a bleeding system is present. And the same thing that was in GTA V with bruises being left after you die will be again present, but this time scars will be introduced. You can literally get a Tony Montana style scar on your face if you get slashed across it very heavily. Business missions will be present, for example, you will have to deliver cocaine from Vice to Bolivia by airplane, something that was tested in the second Trevor mission in V, or you have to reclaim a hood from the rival gang like in SA, but more advanced (I'm getting too ahead of myself). That's all I can recall on this topic. Oh, and the casino system in LV will be heavily present, it was tested in the GTA Online update, almost forgot about it. The soundtrack will be the best in the history of gaming, and I'm serious about it. One of the points behind having two decades is the soundtrack. I don't know about all songs that are in the game, but I know that artists like The Notorious B.I.G., Eminem, Michael Jackson, 2Pac, Hall & Oates, Nas, Nirvana, Metallica, XXXTentacion and Bob Marley are featured. They spent a lot of money to get them in the game. Now, to the cities look and feel. I will keep it short and simple. Everything from 80's Miami will be present in Vice City, if you watched Miami Vice and Scarface you know, modern day VC will look basically the same way modern day Miami does. 90's Liberty will look like 90's New York present in Above the Rim and Juice however with some new features, and the East-West rap beef will be taking place during this time so expect a lot of references to that. The World Trade Center will be featured, however this was a very, very difficult task and R had to pay major bucks to get it. And finally, modern day San Andreas won't also really differ from the real life counterpart, and some new buildings and areas will be added to Los Santos. Online was basically the thing that Schreier leaked. It will be first set in Los Santos and will eventually feature every city. It has been almost made into a full-blown MMO, DLC ideas already there. There will be an option of getting your V Online protagonist to VI, just like when V for next-gens was released. That is all I know on that, because I really don't care about the Online mode and I didn't ask that much. And the final part, the characters and campaign. I'll start with saying who is Jorge Consejo playing, since he already revealed in his CV that he is featured. The answer is a young Martin Madrazo, who will be one of the protagonist's allies. We will also see a young Roman Bellic moving into LC and a young Dwayne Forge before he got locked up who will be one of the protagonist's allies and a very young Playboy X. We will have references to Niko Bellic (he would appear, but Michael Hollick and Rockstar don't really like eachother now), and Michael, Franklin, Trevor and Lamar will make appearances. That's everyone I know that is returning. As for the new characters, there is a lot of them inspired by Scarface and Narcos for the 1980's campaign, Juice and Above the Rim provided a lot of inspiration for the 1996 campaign and I'm pretty sure there will be a character inspired by 2Pac's Bishop. The campaign is like the three eras of GTA. The 80's campaign will be basically about destruction, mayhem, making money and a name for yourself just like in the 2D era games. The 1996 campaign will be like the 3D era one, going from a nobody to one of the biggest criminals in the country and the modern day campaign will be a mix of both, just like the GTA V one. The missions will be 60 each for one campaign, so all added up the game will feature around 180 missions, which is beating GTA: SA's longest campaign in GTA by over 80 missions. I can't even imagine how long the game will take, including random events and the upgraded Strangers & Freaks missions. The protagonists will be heavily inspired by their time periods cultures. We will have a colombian immigrant moving into Vice City with his friend to escape jail in Colombia, a North Holland gangbanger who wants to do something more then living the gang life, but at the same time wants to dominate the city (a mix of both CJ and Franklin) and a man in his late teenage years who wants to get into the criminal life with his friend, after hearing stories and watching movies, you know the type. Also, the protagonists from the two previous campaigns will return in the modern day one, but as older versions of themselves, however there won't be a switch option between them. Oh, and the release date. Currently, the release date is Spring 2021 with a possible delay to Autumn 2021. Sony is currently battling for the game to be a PS5 exclusive for one month and the PC port is set towards Spring/Summer 2022. They want to release the trailer in October 2020, and a week before that they will show the logo which is done for about two years. That's all I know. Now like I said, there is a chance my friend was lying, and all I told you is fake, so take it with a huge grain of salt. However, if it is really true, then just in case I will delete this post in two days, because of legal action. And if I won't do it, then probably someone from Rockstar will take it down.

My Idea for GTA 6

It'll be HUGE.
How huge? It'll have the biggest map in the series, encompassing the whole state of San Andreas (including Los Santos, San Fierro, Las Venturas, and a new city called San Joseph, based on San Jose), with locations you can access by taking a plane to, including Liberty City, Vice City, Carcer City, North Yankton, even locations north and south of the border.
This time, there will be SIX protagonists, these being Michael, Franklin, Trevor, Niko, Taliana Martinez, and an aged, HD Universe version of Tommy Vercetti.
We'll also find out what has happened since GTA V:
We also get to see how the NPCs are doing:
So, to recap:
So, whaddaya think?

Unjumpable WIP Gta San Jump

I am looking for ideas to further this spontaneous jump that I made up. Any comments and suggestions are welcome.

Welcome! To the world of Grand! Theft! Auto! San Andreas!!!

This place is one of the few where you can go completely wild on murder, mayhem, and destruction, and face no consequences!
You see, this world is set in a time loop, and unless certain events called 'missions' are accomplished then this world will just reset, forever and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever!
This doesn't mean YOU will change though, anything you do to yourself, from eating all the human souls in the world time and time again to training your skills for a quintillion years, you can do so, but the constantly looping environment should get boring by that time, right?

-Origins
Agent: Drop-In option. You have no extra memory, no government organizations know you but you still have an ID.
Thug: Any gang, can be pimp, dealer, or similar.
Civilian: Can be anyone else.
Protagonist(1000CP): You are either one of the established protagonists or have your own story to play through! This means you can be Tony Vercetti, Claude Speed, or Carl Johnson. Currently Tony is the boss of Vercetti Gang in
Vice City and has just cut ties with Kenny Rosenberg, Claude Speed has left San Fierro and is thinking of going through the states on a robbing spree that will end in Liberty City, and Carl Johnson has returned to Los Santos after hearing about the death of his mother.
Tony Vercetti is an old man by now and has little to no problems in his life other than keeping his territory and keeping his men disciplined, his life is the most stable of the three.
Claude Speed will live the simple life of a vagabond bandit with Catalina, a crazy woman who is obsessed with her ex, things will escalate eventually and she will betray Claude, but this is a Protagonist she is betraying, the end result is clear.
Carl Johnson is a man of many talents, an opportunist, you will encounter many ways of life if you chose to go as him, and will be expected to do a wide range of things from flying a plane, driving a boat, working as a trucker, delivery boy, owning a casino, car saloon, and more. You will still start as a petty thug though.
The last option is your own Protagonist, your fate will be decided before you enter the world by Jump-chan, and you will need to move through the missions to finish.
Unless taken with the Timeline(0CP) drawback then when 10 years are done the jump will end.
One last thing, the further you go from your game's area the longer it takes for the loop to reset everything, also the weaker Protagonist awareness is on something the faster the loop will reset it.

+Undicounted
Sea Ways: All the cars you are in contact with can now drive on water.
Money Equals Charisma: The more expensive your clothes are, the more expensive the car you just got out of is, the more charismatic and all around better you will be perceived. Even if you haven't showered ever, you will still look better somehow.
Hot Coffee: Sex can be made into a mini-game to get cues on what to do and what not to do.
Karma Houdini: Everything bad you do won't come back to bite you in the ass, especially if you later make amends to fix them. Ruined a talented and successful rapper's life and carrier to make a talentless effeminate person famous? If later you decide to help the talented rapper back on their feet then you will find them coming out wiser, smarter, and all around better out of the whole experience. Just don't tell them it was you that ruined them in the first place...
Cheat Code: You have the ability to use the cheat codes of the GTA San Andreas game, from turning all traffic lights green to summoning tanks to Infinite Ammo until you go to sleep or rest, to change the speed you perceive the world to give all the cars you crash into with your own car negative gravity... Some cheats might have lasting consequences, so think twice before you make EVERYONE rich...
Interiors World: You can shift between dimensions, know the way to dimensions, and can intuitively understand the workings and limitations of dimensions. In this jump and next ones, you will gain the ability to shift your dimensional frequency to go into a world of darkness with only artificial light still shining, allowing you to see what the people are doing behind walls, and even enter highly protected places through dimensional shifting. As an addition you will gain the ability to seem like your body is made out of shadows when shined with sunlight, not artificial light though, this ability does protect you from sunlight if you are a vampire. With time and experience, you may learn how to go into the Underwater World, which is basically above ground but under water, the world acts like you are on air, all the rules are the same as if you are on land, you can even make fire. Best used to search for treasure or as a place to let loose or fishing.

+Burnt Agent
Watching Those Watching You Watch Them: You always know when someone is watching you, more than that you can see them when you close your eyes. This works even through video, and recording(only if the attention is focused upon you directly).
Double Agent: You are competent, a bit too competent it seems as people mistake you for a person already trained in operations you are said to be doing for the first time.
The Nine Different Ways: You are a killer, you know how to kill, and killing is in your nature, or so it seems to others. You can look at someone and think of ways to kill them, and you know which way will show result and which won't, the longer you stare at someone the more in convoluted and complex ways you can imagine. Implementing your mental simulation will be as easy as you imagined. This doesn't show you how to injure, just how to kill them, and if they have a power that lets them survive a way then you will know it, not the power but that the way won't work somehow.

+Thug
OG: You are the real deal, you are the original, you are the first. Any organization that you are a part of will look at you as if you are one of the founders.
Special Agent: You got the moves to impress, and words to intimidate. One look at you and people know they are dealing with the real deal, the ice-cold killer, you just exude an aura of disinterested professionality that chilles people to the bone. This is an intimidation booster for both your speech and the way you hold yourself, and the more competent you are the more intense the intimidation factor will be. As an added bonus your timing is impeccable.
Hell, Yeah, Sir!: Your yay brings all the boys to the yard, to clean your toilet.
Behind You!: Once a jump you gain the ability to utter words with this meaning and both barring them from directly attacking you in any way and giving them a death curse that will kill them if you can keep them in your sight as their life force drains down to zero. But just because they cannot directly attack you does not mean they cannot kill you indirectly by setting the building you are in on fire, ask those near them to kill you, or hit the ground hard enough for an earthquake to kill you, or just simply escape your sight. The target will know that not escaping your sight will kill them and they will do all they can to escape and won't return until the move's duration ends(24 hours is the default, but will last as long as needed if the target has more life force).
As an example, a person who can take five sniper shots will require to be under your gaze for five minutes, the target's regenerative abilities do nothing to affect this duration, but their natural durability and life force will so Deadpool will not take any longer than Batman while someone like Naruto will take a very, very, very long time.
The enemy will lose interest in directly attacking you for a full day even if they are the personification of rage with fiat backed hate on you, they will just set the surroundings on fire, maybe hit the building you are in until it shatters, but as long as you don't directly attack them they won't be able to directly attack you back.
The King Of San Andreas: Whatever you did in this world, however much havoc you caused, however many people you killed... It will echo in the minds of others. That you are dangerous. That you are to be respected. That you are Powerful. Can be turned on or off.

Job Skill: You have a job you are good at, could be accounting, driving cars, fixing cars, fighting a fire, or talking on the radio.
He's A D.A.!: You know just what to say to quell the rage, to turn the unruly into a willing soldier, and all around guide the mob mentality of the thugs and other low lives.
Job Mastery: You may choose a job to be a master of. For a paramedic this would grant you the ability to revive the recently deceased through CPR, while for a firefighter it would be fire immunity for both yourself and your clothes, for a police officer it would mean the ability to never taking any hits to unprotected areas.

+Protagonist
Advantage Of A Stick Shift: You are very good with multitasking when it comes to ladies, you always have the time to satisfy them, fully, no matter the place, time, or the event and doing so will cost you only as much capability as chewing gum. You can race against another Protagonist on their own turf, satisfy the woman next to you, and finish the race right on their tail.
The Protagonist's Gaze: You can see the truth. That this world was made for you. And the glitches and the bugs that come under your sight are an anomaly that you don't accept. What this means is that your Protagonist eyes will hold on to their powers post this jump. The longer you stare at paranormal, abnormal, unnatural, and the extraordinary the more it will unravel and shrivel. The more complex a magic under your sight is, the faster it will crumble and turn on itself. Protections from heat might turn the wearer into a popsicle, and fire expelling wands might catch on fire, the effects are random and usually either ironic or done through the weakest link. But this isn't an all-powerful skill as, if something fits into the science of the world you are in, then it will keep working, even if it is Mad Science. If you accept a certain magic then it will be exempt from the Fixing.

-Items
+Burnt Agent
Bush Colone: This thing lets you seduce anything female without any effort. Replenishes by one squeeze per 10 years, do not pour a full bottle on top of your head unless you are willing to be eaten alive.
+Thug
Infinite Ammo Weapons: 50CP to a set(Professional, Thug, or Nutter), 100CP for all the weapons in GTA San Andreas.
+Civillian
Wardrobe Of All The Clothes: Updates with each world you go to, all the clothes fit perfectly, and never get torn or dirty or otherwise inconvenience you.
+Protagonist
All Proof Car: Only way to destroy it is by flipping it over.
Magic Dildo: Oh My God! Where did you get this Jumper?! This is The Magic Dildo(or vibrator) Of Utter Destruction, when held by a mortal it takes a mere swing to throw around cars with it.
+Magic Dildo Plus: ... Jumper... How? How did you get this? This is a Magic Dildo custom made for you... Due to your nature it has gained a magic called Master Spark, where you shoot a rainbow beam of dimension. Yes, dimension. Anyone caught in the center of the blast will be thrown to another world. The size of the beam does not change. When you spark you will gain an affinity for using your Spark powers to cause destruction.
Assets: Now all the assets you gained in this jump are carried over to other jumps! From the safe houses(no one will find you there or be able to enter unless you bring them there yourself), to side mission assets.

-Companions
Tony Je Papagaj: Knows more than he lets on, might be the reincarnation of Tony Vercetti, even though he is alive. Expect to hear great lessons from him that makes sense only after the event in question passes by, the only reason he is free and is counted as a pet/follower is because it is up to you to convince him to come.
Cannon Companion
Main Characters
Import

-Drawbacks
Timeline(0CP Protagonist, 100CP other): Time won't pass and will loop unless the missions are finished, if you are protagonist then you will need to complete all the missions yourself, if you aren't then you need to partake as a civillian on the missions, from a news helicopter driver to a generic police, to the non-main character thugs whether on Protagonist's side or not.
Wonky Car Controls: You... Are a bad driver. There are no questions about that, whenever you drive the car you are driving will crash. For 100 this is because of Fate's design, for 200 this is because you really are a bad driver, for 300 you will be expected to drive the cars all the damn time and no one else, even when you have no legs and are burnt everywhere the medics will take the other available seats, and if not then just won't get in. Also expect a lot of mentioning of your bad driving skills. For a +100, non-protagonist only, you encounter the Protagonist regularly whenever you drive, and in a jump called Grand Theft Auto, I assume you know where I am getting at.
Useless NPC(100CP for Protagonist, 200 for other): NPCs are... Terrible at everything. Unless it is trying to kill you, or accidentally killing you. Expect for a car of your allies to regularly run you over if you are the Protagonist. If you aren't though... This makes you unable to kill the important characters, from main characters to mission targets, you just don't seem to be able to take down that mortal man no matter how many Nuke Punch'es you throw into their mortal skull.
Relationship Troubles: Every person, everyone that you interact with, will be self-obsessed. You want to hang out with them? You can only do it when they need a favor from you. Unless your desires match, for example wanting a date, you will rarely find someone that actually values you and gives YOU the love and sacrifices anything to make you happy.
Drowning Hazard: You can drown now Jumper, no matter what perks you have the damage of drowning will give shall be +1 always, it might take a while if you have a strong life force though.
+Devil Fruit Weakness: You don't know how to swim, and when you enter any water above chin length all your energies start a very rapid decline and your body becomes incredibly sluggish, if you have some sort of super leaping then you can jump but it is very hard to jump to the shore in that kind of situation.
Hunger: You get hungry Jumper, and get too hungry then you start to lose power, lose all your powers? You slowly start to starve to death. The lost power, if applicable, is whatever magic you have coursing through your body, and can be regained naturally, but if you don't have any magic then it will be your muscles.
Explosive Damage: Now explosions slip through all your immunities and resistances, hopefully you got a GOOD regeneration perk though, right? If the vehicle you are in though only a One Up can save you.
Everyone Hates Everyone
+Everyone Has Melee Weapons: The perks that give you the durability of a mountain, the weight of a moon, and the stability of... You get the deal, those things now don't work when you get whacked with a melee weapon. You may not die but the NPCs might get you into a beating loop. Be the mole, Jumper.
++Everyone Has Guns(Random and Includes Bazookas): Explosions will hurt you and knock you around, unless you have a good regeneration perk from before then be very, very, very careful Jumper.
+++Everyone Hates You In Particular: Oh Lordy, what the hell did you do Jumper?! Now everyone is working together to kill you no matter the cost, expect Kamikaze plane crashes at least once a week. Expect them to cooperate to take you down any way possible, hopefully you didn't buy any other drawback... You didn't right? Also if taken with Timeline then you gain +200CP.

Ghost Car: You are a car. Your perks work slower the closer the Protagonist is. You have all the weaknesses a normal car has in GTA. Unless you have some sort of telekinesis or flight then you are immobile.
If taken with All Proof Car you can gain the proofing post jump but only when in car form(no matter what other perks you have you can't share the immunities to other forms until you Spark), all the people in you will be protected from any active danger(decompression from teleporting to space, crashing into something at light speed, but not from the lack of replenishing air) while in you. You also gain an Achilles' Heel in the form of being flipped on your back, the longer you stay in that position the more damage you will receive, and eventually you will explode violently, the more powerful you are the more powerful the explosion will be.
If taken with Protagonist then it gives no CP as you respawn. Doesn't keep you from shifting to an alternate form.

I am looking for ideas to further this spontaneous jump that I made up. Any comments and suggestions are welcome.

my top 6 gta 6 ideas

these are my 6 ideas for gta 6
  1. Grand theft auto: angels and damned
if gta 6 does take place in the 60's or 70's than i was thinking they could make a gta game set in the state of San Andreas in 1969 that tells the story of a Vietnam war vet who returns home from Vietnam and becomes a member of the angels of death motorcycle gang. the story will document the early days of the infamous angels of death mc. as you progress through the story you will rise up through the ranks of the gang and eventually become president of the san andreas chapter. the game will have a ton of licensed music of the 1960's. the map will be massive spanning from Los santos to Las venturas to San fierro and will also feature small towns sprinkled all over the map along with wilderness such as backwoods, farmland, mountains, and deserts. you can also drive a wide selection of vehicles ranging from motorcycles, cars, trucks, semis, bulldozers, planes, choppers, boats, and more. the game will be all about rising through the ranks of a motorcycle gang, tearing around the countryside on your motorcycle, and raising hell.

  1. Grand theft auto: vice city narcos
from what ive been reading on the internet a lot of people really want to see vice city again. so this is my idea for another vice city game. the game will be set in a fully fictionalized version of south florida in the year 1986. the game will be about starting with nothing and working your way to the top and becoming vice city's biggest drug kingpin kinda like gta vice city's storyline. in this game vice city will be way bigger than it was in gta vice city by having vice city itself and new locations such as the florida keys, everglades, several tropical islands off the coast, and lake Okeechobee. there will also be side missions were you smuggle drugs into vice city. and there will be different factions like the mafia, drug cartel, and local gangs. and because the map will include swamplands and countryside you will also have other factions like the dixie mafia, biker gangs, etc. and like almost every gta game there will be a wide variety of vehicles to drive. this game will be heavily action packed and will include the feature from max payne of jumping around and going in slow motion shooting. and it will have a lucritive and fun drug dealing system kinda like gta chinatown wars. this game will also be heavily inspired by tv shows and movies such as scarface, miami vice, and narcos.

  1. Grand theft auto: carcer city
so this game will have a way more serious tone unlike the other ideas i just mentioned. this game will be set in carcer city and the surrounding countryside in the year 1998. this carcer city is nothing like the one from manhunt and will be based off chicago and detroit. in this game you are rising through the ranks of a mafia family. it will work a lot like the godfather games were you extort businesses, kill off rival mobsters, take over territorys, etc. you will also have the ability to pick up bodies, put them in trunks, drive them places, and dump them. this game will be inspired by shows such as the sorpranos, and the netflix show bad blood.

  1. Grand theft auto: sin city
this game will be set in 1970's las venturas and will be about building your own mafia empire and managing your casinos and building casinos. the game's map will consist of Las venturas itself and mostly desert and the hoover dam. you will also be able to gamble your money away by playing casino mini games. this game will be heavily inspired by the martin scorsese film casino.

  1. Grand theft auto 6
this game will be set in the year 2014 and the map will include all gta universe citys such as los santos, san fierro, las venturas, vice city, liberty city, cottonmouth, and carcer city. and will have a ton of small towns and different terrains of wilderness such as forests, farmlands, deserts, swamps, mountains, and so on. the game will have a wide variety of vehicles, weapons, etc to choose from. in this game you can be any kind of criminal you want you can be a mobster, a gangbanger, a drug lord, and so on. or you could be a vigilante and tear down these different factions by destroying their infostructure and killing the leader of the faction. you will also have the ability to become a police officer. you can join different gangs and organizations and rise through the ranks of them and become the leader of them. you will also have the ability to hide bodies. and you will be able to hogtie npcs with duct tape and transport them to places kinda how in rdr you can hogtie npcs with a lasso and take them places. the in game internet will be bigger and have more things to do on it as well. if you get arrested you can bribe the cops or go to prison. if you go to prison you can serve your sentence which means you will have to do anything to survive in prison. or you can try to breakout of prison. if you commit a serious crime and lose the police they will have huge manhunts for you and keep looking for you for a while. you can even craft your own weapons such as molotovs, homemade explosive devices, etc.

  1. Grand theft auto: san andreas HD remake
i would also love to see an hd remake of my favorite gta of all time gta san andreas. it will have a complete hd universe version of san andreas and will have all the radio stations and songs from gta san andreas. it will also have ragdoll effects as well. it will have all the cool vehicles and weapons from gta san andreas. it will have rdr2 quality graphics.

anyway that is my top 6 gta 6 ideas i hope you guys like it. this took me about 3 hours to make. id love to hear your thoughts let me know which one of these ideas you think is the best or if you have another idea you would like to share.

I have to gush about Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. (Same guy who gushed about Vice City)

I've been playing the franchise of Grand Theft Auto for 15 years now. And seeing as this is the place to talk about Grand Theft Auto, I figured I would gush about one of the best games of all time: Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. Now, to be honest, each Grand Theft Auto is number one to me. Like, I'm not going to sit here and say that GTA 4 was better than 5 or Visa Versa. I believe they all have their own elements that make them the best. But San Andreas still, to this day, blows my damn mind, as I'm sure it does for others. Let's get started on the gushing.
The Setting - Goddamn... Where do you begin? The first moment you get the chance in the game, open the map, and BOOM! Your mind is blown. The map is humongous. San Andreas has 3, each mostly unique, main areas: Los Santos, San Fierro, and Las Venturas. Los Santos gives you the feeling of the hood and city- life combined, with gang members patrolling, with many buildings to see, and many areas to explore. San Fierro gives that hippie vibe (Mostly due to The Truth), and city feel. Also, a dose of Chinatown is there. Then, we come to Las Venturas. I have to say they did a phenomenal job with it. It is Vegas, to the bone. This is where the life really breathes into you from the setting. Las Venturas is packed with the city, hotel, and Casino vibrancy. Who doesn't love that? You'll find the best cars (as far as I can tell) on the roads here. The rest of the map that I didn't cover consists of country side, filled with country-town folk. I do have a few knocks for the setting though, and please understand that I do love the setting, but I feel it's missing a few things. I think two things I don't see in San Andreas that I see in Vice City are different colors and a clear vibrancy from the setting. And that's probably due to the years they take place in, but overall, minus some of Las Venturas, the setting doesn't envelop me into it. This is just my opinion. I don't have palm trees that blow in the wind in San Andreas. Again, I understand that's all due to location, but I think you see my point.
The Plot (CONTAINS SPOILERS) - AMAZING PLOT. You see CJ prove everyone wrong, you see betrayal, and you see a legacy (or empire) being built by CJ for himself. It starts off phenomenally when you realize that Samuel L. Jackson and Chris Penn (Rest In Peace) are the main antagonists. Great job with the voice acting already just to start the damn game. The plot line, in my eyes, follows the L.A. Riots, a little of Boyz N' The Hood, and Menace to Society. It doesn't follow these movies and riots exactly, but I see the influence. First thing you do is build the hood back up. Then, it all goes down. The betrayal of Big Smoke and Ryder is something I did not see at all the first time playing through. Second time though, I caught all the clues :p After the betrayal, CJ bounces back in Angel Pine, and goes to San Fierro to complete his comeback. One thing that I loved about the Angel Pine, and Catalina missions, is that you felt vulnerable as a character in the series. You didn't really know where you were, and you were just staying away from your original home. All shit just seemed real fucked up. You know the rest of the plot. Overall, I just thought the whole thing was perfect. CJ coming full circle was so fulfilling. The only thing I didn't really understand, and to this day I still don't, is that no one really cared that Ryder betrayed as well. Like, he wasn't as big of a factor as Big Smoke was in everyone's eyes. I understand why, but not really. Ryder was a homie to the bone. He seemed like the Godfather of the hood. But, none of that takes away from the perfection of the plot.
The Characters - Carl Johnson: CJ. Excellent Protagonist. Very Loyal after being told he wasn't loyal. Has some amazing quotes. Modest, comedic, loyal, and tough. He felt like a common man, to a certain degree. Like, when T-Bone Mendez was choking him out, he had a realistic reaction: "What the hell?". Ryder - Godfather of the hood (My opinion, before his betrayal). He's Eazy-E for Christ's sake. Very funny to be around. Big Smoke - Seemed like a true brother. Had a lot of fun being with him (Minus Wrong Side of the Tracks). But, he's actually just a fucking snake. I loved how he stayed true to himself even in death. Sweet - Fatherly figure of the hood. He's what I consider an original gangster, because the moment he gets out of jail, he gets pissed at CJ for not thinking about the hood before himself. Cesar Vialpando - Loved the way they threw in a cool love story with him and Kendl. Cesar was so cool. Perfect guy to have as a brother-in-law in the game. Always did the right thing, such as showing CJ the betrayal. Tenpenny and Pulaski are perfect at what they do. Being asshole cops and breaking the law. Ironic. And now, for one of my favorite characters of all time: Woozie. Woozie is like the coolest, most suave guy you'll ever see. Finding out he was blind, and CJ's reaction to it was priceless. When provoked, Woozie is a bad-ass. But really, he's just this leader with very loyal henchmen, and he runs a tight ass casino. He's just cool. I know there are more characters, but I don't want the whole post to be on characters. Overall, the characters in San Andreas are flawless. Very true to life.
Weapons - Huge amount of weapons. From a dildo to a Desert Eagle, San Andreas has you covered. One thing I did like in Vice City better was that the weapons just sounded better, and cooler. The mini-gun in San Andreas just sounds like a mini-gun, and not this weapon that will saw people in half. Maybe could've added another sniper rifle as well. My opinion. But the weapons are fun, and fantastic, and dual wield was added!
Missions - Tons of missions. Damn. Too many to describe honestly. And each mission is unique. Great dialogue through each mission. You could be burning a weed farm, stealing a jet pack, or robbing "the army, my nigga". Each mission meant a lot. Tons of side missions as well. I can't tell you how much fun it was interacting with Zero in the cutscenes; "Oh, you knocked his bitch!" So much comedy. Well-timed comedy is the best, and San Andreas has that in these missions, and throughout the game. You have enough missions in this game to the point where if you spray all 100 tags, or collect horseshoes, etc., it won't feel like you did it all for nothing, because you'll still have PLENTY of missions ahead of you (Unless you save that stuff for dead last).
Goals and Rewards - If you want a game with goals and rewards, you need to own Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. Holy Shit. You get so many perks from doing all the goals laid out for you. Do you want to have Prostitutes pay you? Do the Pimping Missions. Do you want to be fireproof? Do the Firetruck missions. Want guns to spawn at your house? Spray all 100 tags. There's so much to do. Almost too much. Fuck. You can deliver newspapers on a bike and you get a $2000 asset you can collect appearing at the newspaper company. For beating the game, you get infinite ammo, upgraded health and armor, upgraded cars, the hydra spawns at your house, and a Rhino tank spawns at your house. You have so many goals and rewards in San Andreas that make the game so in-depth, and so fun. And for me, the most fun way to do the vigilante missions is to use a cop motorcycle. It's too much fun. Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas has MANY goals for you to attain, and rewards for your hard work.
Music - Big fan of the radio selection in this game. Radio X and K-DST were always my favorites. Radio Los Santos too. They got some good music for this game. You can't even get Nuthin' But a G Thang on ITunes anymore (As of last time I checked). The soundtrack is perfect for anyone who wants to go guns blazing, or for someone who wants to chill and kill. My only gripe about the soundtrack is that each radio station each has like those one or two songs that really don't fit. Does Movin' On Up really belong on Radio X? Not in my mind. Other than those few songs that don't fit the radio station, it's perfect.
Vehicles - Too many to list. Very diverse. Jet-Pack! Tons of Planes and jets. Jet-Pack! Plenty of boats for your pleasure. Jet-Pack! Loads of new cars and motorcycles, including a cop motorcycle. Bicycles are new too. They are a ton of fun. Not really seen much outside of Los Santos though. Jet-Pack! The damn game has a Jet-Pack, and by God, they did it right. It's a little OP, but that's why it's a late in-game item. Unless, you cheat :p Great amount of vehicles, and diversity within San Andreas.
Cops and Gangs - Same as always. A little bit harder I think. Cops are relentless in this game. A lot more shotguns than before. They play smarter too. This game though, has a lot of interaction with gangs. Grove Street vs. The Ballas is a compelling story. Bring in Vagos, and you've got a war for Los Santos. The Gang Wars you can take place in are phenomenal. Tons of fun, and it's difficult when it wants to be. And... And... THIS GAME BRINGS YOU GANG MEMBERS FOLLOWING YOU AT YOUR COMMAND! San Andreas did it right. You can get homies to follow you. Fuck. The adventures I went on with those guys. Using the cheat to get anybody to follow you as a gang member has a lot of fun in its own (such as getting an army soldier to follow you). Cops and Gangs are at the pinnacle of perfection in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas.
Miscellaneous Activities - These are all self explanatory, but I need to mention them. Working out and learning moves is incredible. Never thought that would be in a GTA game, and poof! It was done right, too. Clothing and tattoos give you so much customization. And the addition of parachuting is exhilarating. Don't deny it. There are many more activities to mention, but these ones pop out at me.
Overall - You have a lot of play time ahead of you if you want to get 100% in this game. I mean, you have to set aside so much time just to concentrate on everything you have to do. So much detail in this game, and that's why it's the best selling game on the PS2 (Correct me if I'm wrong). Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas brings you everything you could ever want in video gaming, including, but not limited to Dildos and Jet-Packs! You have so much to do. This game is the definition of an Open-World (Sandbox) video game. Go to the gym. Go get food. Go get a tattoo. Go rob "The army, my nigga". Jet-pack everywhere you go if you want. It's that damn fun. This game is so fucking big, and fun. Go explore on your four-wheeler while listening to Hellraiser by Ozzy Osbourne, and try to achieve 100%. Big map, great soundtrack, great interaction with gangs, many missions, a perfect plot, and just the aura of San Andreas makes Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas one of the best creations in the video game industry of all time, and it may be number one (Tied with Vice City).

What locations would you want to see in the next GTA game. What would the storyline/theme look like?

Which cities would you like to see in GTA's future?
I have a couple cities/extensions that I'd love to see Rockstar add.
San Francisco.
I'd love to see San Fierro make a comeback, in more detail, with a slightly modern twist, (or a mid 90s to mid 2000s twist). A laid back, northern California vibe. A lot of focus on the Bay Area. I'd love to see smaller surrounding cities like Oakland, Berkeley, San Mateo, Palo Alto, Fremont, and San Jose added, too. It'd be cool to see Rockstar's take on iconic surrounding areas like Silicon Valley, and the likes. Although San Fierro is part of San Andreas, I think it's a city big enough, at least culturally speaking, to warrant it's own game, similar to Los Santos. If Rockstar was really feeling adventurous, they could extend the map way out east to include Yosemite, or as far up north to include Sacramento.
Las Vegas
I'm getting the obvious cities out of the way first. I'd like to see Las Venturas return as well. Preferably as it's own title game. Maybe with a late 80's to mid 90's theme going on. Think Ocean's eleven. Big casino heists, huge emphasis on gambling and casino games with other people online. 8-man heists, huge takes, vice, and unconventional sights. Think mob controlled Vegas. Doing work for wealthy mob-connected families in Vegas giving you orders poolside in their mansions in their pajamas robes smoking cigars! The map could extend to Arizona and include great sights like the Grand Canyon. Rockstar should also try to find a way to remove Las Venturas from San Andreas (that always confused me).
New Jersey
This would be a great city to include in any upcoming GTA game. Maybe Early 90's. Think Sopranos. Revisiting that east coast Mafia theme from GTA 3. The game could include places like Atlantic City revolving around a slightly smaller gambling culture, albeit still there -- plenty of opportunity for storyline there. Newark, and New Jersey City - corrupt politicians, mob bosses, crime, and even opportunity to tie the storyline into nearby Liberty City! Since the state is so small, you could even include cities like Trenton.
Chicago
I'd love to see this city added in. It's the only city next to NYC that I think could revisit that busy city hustle and bustle vibe. Picturesque skyline. Include wealthy north Chicago suburbs, include a lake and harbor culture along Lake Michigan and Lake Shore Drive, include heavy gang culture in south and west side Chicago, you could even include western Chicagoland suburbs as well. This would make a great location somewhere down along the line.
GTA V extension - Orange County/ San Diego
I'd love to see a game based in southern California really feel like a game based in Southern California. Los Angeles is obviously integral in that, but what about orange county? The map should extend further down south. Include wealth, seaside resort beach cities like Seal Beach, Huntington Beach, Newport Beach, Laguna Beach, and Dana point. Perhaps even inland to include big cities like Anahaim or Aliso Viejo.
San Diego would've been nice to include as well. I think the city could be integrated into a GTA series one of two ways:
a.) It could be part of a GTA V extension, which would REALLY be pushing the limits, along with Orange County.
b.) It could be included in it's own title. San Diego as it's own city with locations inland featured as well, along with a much anticipated inclusion of Mexico. There'd be no excuse not to include Mexico if San Diego was ever included in a GTA game! This would be amazing. Think Miami, but west coast. Think Mexican Cartel drug cartels.
Miami
This is another obvious one. We should add a modern twist to it, though. Revisiting Vice City with an 80s theme again would be overkill, in my opinion. I'd like to see modern day elements included. A Cuban cocaine/drug smuggling culture, nightclubs, exorbitant wealth, displays of new money, yachts, beaches. The map would have to be extended into surrounding cities as Miami would be too small to include by itself in a modern day GTA game. What did I have in mind? An extension to cities up north like Boca Raton, West Palm Beach, and Jacksonville. to the west, include a natural scenic spot - like the Everglades national park (swamps!) and cities like Tampa (including the bay) or Sarasota. So the south, you could include the Florida Keys (islands connected by small, narrow highways)
Washington D.C.
For some reason, I REALLY want to see this city included. It honestly feels like it'd make a great location for a GTA game, just because of all the cultural content that could be packed into the game. Modern twist and time period for sure. Imagine House of Cards. Doing work for corrupt politicians, political scandals, big government agencies, the feds. It'd be a great opportunity to finally include a president of the GTA universe's president of the U.S. Think of the amount of satire, jokes, and references Rockstar could address in a game like this. It would be a goldmine for sure. Rockstar would have to be careful about the political lines they decide to cross, but it'd be amazing. The map could include the national mall, of course, but also surrounding areas and cities like Baltimore, Maryland, since it's so close, and even Virginia, for a nice suburban portion of the map, or even Delaware for rural.
Philadelphia
Another great choice for a big city with unique areas of it's own. Great second choice to Chicago, although I'd be stunned if this was included before Chicago. Because of it's proximity, I'd ideally just include this city in a title game with New Jersey.
Boston
This city could definitely work. A classic American city. Gritty working class crime, wealthy New England elite, and everything in between. Imagine something equestrian. Horse riding, sailing, rowing. Imagine a red-brick city. Irish Crime families. Remember the Irish crime twist in GTA IV? Imagine magnifying that into a game of it's own. McReary crime family. Irish Crime families at war with Italian crime families in Boston. Racketeering, drug trafficking, money laundering and everything else.
Salt Lake City
How neat would it be to have a small city included into a GTA game? Something laid back, but with a small crime element. Imagine finding our protagonist in a location - a snowy location. Think snowy mountain tops, think cabins, think snowmobiles. Maybe we're introduced to a protagonist who's laying low from crime in another major city in the GTA universe (reminiscent of San Andreas). Doing small odd jobs to make a living. A breath of fresh air.
New Mexico
This is my last choice for a location in the U.S. It'd be cool to include a city close to the southern border. Think Breaking Bad. Modern day desert towns, a Spanish element, cactus! Desert living, there's definitely a criminal element down there. Mexican drug cartels, and hot air balloons (Albuquerque). I think that'd be really neat.
My city choices are only limited to places in the U.S. but I'd like to hear locations you guys would be interested in for upcoming GTA titles and what kind of theme would go alone with it (time period, criminal elements, storyline, etc.)?

What do you want from GTA V DLC?

I'm already wondering about DLC for GTA V....
I loved that in 'San Andreas' you could also visit stylised versions of San Francisco (San Fierro) and Las Vegas (Las Venturas) - Imagine if Rockstar announced that each DLC that came out was one of these two locations? Brand new maps (maybe not as large as Los Santos) with tonnes of new missions. Start a dot com in Silicon Valley, or buy a chain of casinos on the Strip. I'd play it!

Our Very First Ever 'Game Of The Week - Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas!'

We wanted to start the Game of the Week Series off with something big, so we thought "What's bigger than GTA:SA on PS2?" The answer of course, is: nothing. This is one of the biggest game worlds on the system, and at the time it was the biggest, greatest, most expansive, detailed, explorable game on any system in the world. And it started out on our beloved PS2 as an exclusive.
So give us your memories of the game! What did you love. What was life like when it came out? What is your favorite part. Were you able to "just follow the damn train?." Let us know, because I know that for me, whole weekends were lost to this game when it came out. It was one of the few games that my whole group of friends were playing, and we all played through it at the same time. It connected us more than any other game ever had up until that point. It was wonderful. Anyway, that's enough about my memories. Here is a little bit about the game:
Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas is an open world action-adventure video game developed by Rockstar North and published by Rockstar Games. It was released on 26 October 2004 for the PlayStation 2 console. It is the seventh title in the Grand Theft Auto series, and was the first main entry since Grand Theft Auto: Vice City in 2002. It was released on the same day as the handheld game Grand Theft Auto Advance.
Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas is played from a third-person perspective in an open world environment, allowing the player to interact with the game world at their leisure. The game is set within the fictional state of San Andreas, which is heavily based on California and Nevada.[a] The state of San Andreas consists of three metropolitan cities: Los Santos, based on Los Angeles; San Fierro, based on San Francisco; and Las Venturas, based on Las Vegas. The single-player story follows Carl "CJ" Johnson, who returns home to Los Santos after learning of his mother's murder. CJ finds his old friends and family in disarray, and over the course of the game he attempts to re-establish his old gang, clashes with corrupt cops, and gradually unravels the truth behind his mother's murder. The plot is based on multiple real-life events in Los Angeles, including the rivalry between the Bloods and Crips street gangs, the crack epidemic, the Rampart scandal, and the 1992 Los Angeles riots.
Upon its release, the game was acclaimed by many reviewers who praised the music, story and gameplay. It became the best-selling video game of 2004, and has sold over 27 million copies as of 2011; it remains the best-selling PlayStation 2 game of all time. The game, like it's predecessors, is cited as a landmark in video games for its far-reaching influence within the industry. The violence and sexual content of San Andreas has been the source of public concern and controversy. In particular, a player-made software patch, dubbed the "Hot Coffee mod", unlocked a previously hidden sexual mini-game. Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas takes place in 1992 within the state of San Andreas, which is based on sections of California and Nevada. It comprises three major fictional cities: Los Santos corresponds to Los Angeles, San Fierro corresponds to San Francisco, and Las Venturas corresponds to Las Vegas.[8] The environments around these cities are also based on settings within the Southwestern region of the United States. Players can drive up the half-mile (800 m) tall Mount Chiliad (based on Mount Diablo), parachute from various peaks and skyscrapers, and visit 12 rural towns and villages located in three counties: Red, Flint, and Bone counties.
Other new features and changes from previous Grand Theft Auto games include:
• Gang wars: Battles with enemy gangs are prompted whenever the player ventures into enemy territory and kills at least three gang members. If the player then survives three waves of enemies, the territory will be won and fellow gang members will begin wandering the streets of these areas. The more territory owned by the player, the more money that will be generated. Occasionally, the player's territory will come under attack from enemy gangs and defeating them will be necessary to retain these areas. Once all marked territories are claimed from one of the two other gangs for the Grove Street Families, that gang can no longer attack. Once the player takes control of all the territories, none can come under attack.
• Car modification: Most automobiles in the game can be modified and upgraded at various garages. All car mods are strictly visual apart from the stereo and nitrous oxide upgrade which increases bass and gives the car a speed boost when activated respectively; and hydraulics, which lowers the car's height by default and allows the player to control various aspects of the car's suspension. Other common modifications include paintjobs, rims, body kits, side skirts, bumpers and stereo system upgrades.
• Burglary: Continuing the series' tradition of controversy, home invasion is included as a potential money-making activity.[12] By stealing a burglary van, CJ is able to sneak into a residence at night, and cart off valuables or shake down the occupants.
• Minigames: Numerous minigames are also available for play in San Andreas, including basketball, pool, rhythm-based challenges (dancing and 'bouncing' lowriders with hydraulics), and video game machines that pay homage to classic arcade games. In addition, there are the aforementioned casino games and methods of gambling, such as betting on virtual horse races.[13]
• Money: The money system has been expanded upon, compared to previous titles. Players can spend their cash on gambling, tattoos, meals, etc. Excessive gambling loss can force the player to sink into debt, which is shown in red negative numbers. When the player leaves a safehouse, CJ gets an unexpected call and a mysterious person tells him about his debts. Four gang members suddenly appear and shoot Carl on sight if he does not erase the debt when the mysterious person calls him a second time.
• Multiplayer: Rampages have been modified to allow two players to complete them. The players are both shown simultaneously on the screen, meaning they must stay within close proximity of each other. The multiplayer rampages provide such functionality.
Never Played It? Not In Your Collection? Go And Buy It!
Let's kick the "Game Of The Week Series" off with a bang. Let's hear it!

My Single Player DLC wishlist

TL;DR I know this thread doesn't actually do anything in regards to R* but I wanted to know what was on everyones wishlists for the Singleplayer expansions/DLC's
So San Andreas is my favorite GTA of all time but GTA: V is only second to it by a short margin. I love the scale of the world of V era Los Santos and Blaine County but miss the lively hood of San Andreas. I would love all the different activities from San Andreas to come to GTA V and online. Working out, buying fast food for health, sports betting at the racetrack, shooting hoops, and medic, taxi, and vigilante missions. All these activities help break up the boredom and I would love to see dynamic taxi and medic mission based on other players actions online. (Technically eating fast food isn't an activity but it would be more locations to hold up plus a guaranteed way to get full health rather than hoping for a pop machine somewhere near where your going)
Now storywise I would love a storyline focusing on Franklin and the return of Carl Johnson. GTA V's main story is mostly about Trevor and Michael while Franklin is mostly just along for the ride to make money. So the DLC should focus on Franklin's hood life. Plus we need more Lamar. I know it has never been done in GTA before but in my dream DLC a map expansion to include San Fierro and Las Venturas would be in order. In San Andreas both islands are on islands anyways so it should be fairly simple to work them into the existing map.
I would prefer the islands be connected by bridges like in San Andreas but if it was to difficult I suppose having to fly from the airport would work. If they were connected by bridges I would want them to add the land masses online even for players who haven't purchased the DLC but make non buying players get an automatic 5 star wanted level anytime they get on the bridge or try to get there by air or sea. This way you don't fracture the community by who has and who hasn't bought the dlc.
Anyways back to the story of the DLC. It would start with Franklin getting a call from Lamar about doing some sort of gang banging and it goes wrong and they end up in Las Venturas and meet CJ who is now a successful business owner in the San Fierro and Las Venturas areas. CJ offers them some new missions in the new areas and eventually the story progresses and CJ is coming back to Los Santos to help the families get more turf and the gang war mechanic is added from San Andreas. (Plus a mode on online where your crew can make money in free roam by taking territories from NPC gangs and other crews)
Finally the DLC wraps up with a Oceans 11 style heist on the new Los Santos Casino. (turns out CJ owns the casino in Las Venturas and doesn't want the competition)
Anyways I know that this thread has no bearing on the kind of DLC Rockstar makes for GTA V and I know that San Andreas and GTA V are technically different universes but I thought this thread would be fun and wanted to hear what other people wanted for DLC
