$SNE, MASSIVE DOUBLE DICK INSIDE. Poised to moon long-term (Computer vision boom, EV boom, autonomous driving tech, gaming boom, music streaming boom, cross-media IP, vertically integrated anime streaming monopoly, online medical services boom, shift to mirrorless cameras)
Listen up retards. Do you happen to feel regret because you always think “ohhh if I yoloed my savings on TSLA/AMD/NVDA 🚀 leaps years ago I could be rich by now!!!”
Well if you didn't know already, it doesn’t really matter what happened in the past. Hindsight will always be 20/20. You shouldn’t be harsh on yourself on your past self that your past self wasn’t retarded enough to yolo their savings into AMD/TSLA/.... Your past self doesn’t have the same knowledge that your current self has. It’s fine. If you judged those stocks with the best DD you could do at the time and didn’t think they were worth it, then you did a good job.
If you always think about what you could/should have done in the past, then you don't have the right attitude to play the stock market casino imho.
The single most important thing is to be able to look ahead. There are always plenty of opportunities around. There are thousands of rockets that are still on earth right now. Some may depart this year, others will stay a little longer on earth. The true strength lies in being able to identify those rockets with the knowledge you have right now. And if you still miss most rockets that will take-off this year that's fine, maybe you'll learn, get better and you'll do better next year.
Now, what if I told you there’s a big rocket that’s parked right right here on earth and it has decent chance for take-off this year? Maybe it won't quite reach the moon this year yet, but hey leaving the exosphere should already be a cool milestone.
It has rock-solid fundamentals and will see lots of growth in the following years/decade.
It’s a company that has the fundamental technology to power all the computer vision tech, which is bound to boom this decade.
The company we’re talking about is of course Sony, and it is extremely undervalued right now.
Its P/E is only 14. They have a P/S of 1.65, a PEG of 0.92 (< 2 is already somewhat exceptional for a company/conglomerate of Sony’s size, under 1 is a steal)
Much lower than all of its same-sector peers. This indicates significant undervaluation.
Next up Sony has a P/CF 13.2, ROE of 20% (S&P 500 average is 14% which would already be considered pretty good. 20% ROE is excellent), PEGY of 0.89, P/B of 2.65 and finally Sony has $41.6B in cash on hand. This makes Sony one of the cheapest tech/entertainment/EV/semiconductor growth stocks you will find on the market.
(ROE of 20% + PEGY of 0.89 + PEG of 0.92 means this company is a growth stock based on the numbers alone, but we’ll dig into the actual company and overall outlook in a moment)
I challenge all retards to find a company with similar benchmarks in one of the mentioned sectors, seriously.
Quite frankly doing this DD honestly blew my mind. I kept looking everywhere for reasons why the company could be so undervalued and why they may struggle in the future. Very important to look at all the challenges the company faces to make sure I’m not just doing confirmation bias DD. But all I could find was the opposite. After several weeks and months of working on this DD, I can only conclude that it is overall a very solid company for a bargain price. The new CEO is taking the company in a great direction imho and I'm begin to think he could be Sony's Satya Nadella.
So if you want some easy tendies, maybe consider $SNE while it is still cheap, I’d say.
For the autists out there who care about analyst ratings, SONY ($SNE) currently has 18 BUY ratings, 2 OVERWEIGHT, 4 HOLD and 0 SELL. (= analyst consensus is a STRONG BUY). Very little analysts cover this stock compared to other entertainment/tech companies, so this adds to my assertion that the stock is very much under the radar. Which means you have time to get in before it gets noticed by the larger investing world and before it starts to get a more fair valuation (P/E of around 30 would be more fair for this company I think, but still cheaper than many same sector peers). But, anyway the few analysts who do happen to cover this company are basically all saying it’s an instant-buy at its current price.
Most boomer investors still think big Japanese tech companies are dinosaurs that have long been surpassed by China, South Korea and Apple etc ages ago. Young boomers may think Sony = PlayStation and that it's it. But the truth is that PlayStation, while very important (about 24% of Sony's total revenue last year), is a part of a larger story.
Lots of investors in general associate Sony with the passé Japanese electronics companies from the 80’s and the 90’s. Just like a lot people may think BlackBerry is a struggling phone company.
While Sony may not be the powerhouse in consumer electronics it was in the 80’s and the 90’s, in a lot of ways they are more relevant than ever before. Despite being a well-known brand and being known as the company behind PlayStation, for some reason its stock still seems to be under the radar among both retail and institutional investors. And boy, are they mind-blowingly undervalued. Even if a big part of its business would collapse tomorrow, they would still be slightly undervalued. And I am about to tell you why.
(& btw compared to Japanese tech/entertainment stocks $SNE is still super cheap (Canon, Nikon, Toshiba, Sharp, Panasonic, Square Enix, Capcom, Nintendo, Fujitsu all have P/E ratios ranging from 18 to 77 and none of them have the combination of global clout, fundamentals & growth prospects that Sony has))
2021 Sony as a corparation is not the fucking Sony from 2005-2015’s, just like BlackBerry in 2021 is not the fucking Blackberry from 2012. Just like Garmin in 2021 is not Garmin from 2011. Just like AMD in 2021 is not AMD from 2012.
No, in 2021, Sony is the global leader in imaging technology and people do not fucking realize it. Sony has 50% marketshare in the CMOS image sensor market. There’s a very good chance the smartphone in your pocket has Sony image sensors (unless it’s a Samsung phone). Sony image sensors are powering a big part of today's vision/camera technology. And they will power even more of tomorrow's computer vision tech.
In 2021, Sony is a behemoth in video games, music, anime, movies and TV show production. Sony is present in every segment of entertainment. Sony’s entertainment branches have been doing great business over the past 5 years, especially music and PlayStation. Additionally, Sony Pictures has completely turned around.
In 2021, Sony is the world’s biggest music publisher (and second biggest music company overall). Music streaming has been a boon for Sony Music and will continue to be.
In 2021, Sony is among the biggest mobile gaming companies in the world (yes, you read that right). And it’s mainly thanks to one game (Fate/Grand Order) that nets them over $1B revenue each year. One of the biggest mobile gaming companies + arguably biggest gaming brand in the world (PlayStation).
In 2021, Sony is an EV company. They surprised the world when they revealed their “Vision-S” at CES 2020. At the reception was fantastic. It is seriously one of the best looking EV’s. They already sell sensors to Toyota. Sony will most like sell the Vision-S's tech to other car manufacturers (sensors for driving assistence / autonomous driving, LiDAR tech, infotainment system).

40 sensors in the Sony Vision-S
Considering the overwhelmingly good reception of the Vision-S so far, I suspect the Vision-S could be another catalyst that will put Sony as a company on the radar of investors and consumers.
We've seen insane investment hype for anything even remotely related to EV over the past year. We've seen a company that barely had a few EV design concepts (oh wait, they had a gravity-powered truck though) even get a $30B market cap at some point lmao.
But somehow a profitable company ($SNE) that has an EV that you can actually drive, doesn't even have a fair valuation?
In 2020’s Sony’s brand value is at their highest point since 12 years. In 2021, it is projected to be a its highest point since 2001 assuming same growth as average yearly growth from 2015 to 2020. Keep in mind brand valuation is a bit bullshitty as there’s no standardization to compare brands from different sectors, let alone non-consumer-facing brands with consumer-facing brands. But one thing we can note is that Sony both as B2C brand and as a B2B company is on a big upwards trend.
https://interbrand.com/best-global-brands/sony/
https://careers.uw.edu/blog/2020/03/17/these-are-the-10-biggest-video-game-companies-in-north-america-shared-article-from-zippia/
In 2021, Sony is an entertainment behemoth. They have grown their entertainment branches by a huge amount over the past 5 to 10 years (they made some big acquisitions in the music space especially and they’re now also all-in in anime). I don’t think people realize how big Sony is as an entertainment company. I dug up the numbers and as of Q3 2020, PlayStation is the second biggest video game company in the world (Tencent is #1) in revenue (I suspect Sony might dethrone Tencent after Sony’s FY Q3 2020 is released). But Sony already comes very close to Tencent especially if you add Fate/Grand Order (which is under Sony Music and not under PlayStation) under PlayStation.
There’s no single other company that has this unique combination of a dominant/important position in all entertainment segments. (video games + music + movies + TV series + anime + TV networks). I guess Tencent maybe?
In 2021, Sony has amazing momentum in the camera space. If you’re familiar with the enthusiast photography space, you should know this. Basically, the market is slowly shifting from SLR to mirrorless cameras. This is because mirrorless cameras tend to smallelighter, have faster AF, better low light performance, better battery life and better video performance. Sony is the company that has been specializing in the development for mirrorless cameras for over a decade while Canon’s bread and butter has always been SLR cameras. Sony is in the lead when it comes to mirrorless cameras and that’s where the market is shifting towards. Because the advantages of mirrorless have become more and more apparent and Sony’s cameras have become technically superior, Sony has gained quite a bit of market share over Canon and Nikon in the last few years. In 2019, Sony overtook Nikon as the #2 camera manufacturer. Sony is in an upwards trend here. (they have the ambition to become the world’s #1 camera brand) Sony also has very good marketing for their cameras. (Sony has a lot of YouTubers / influencers / brand ambassadors for their cameras despite being a smaller brand than Canon)
(just search on YouTube and/or Google “switching to Sony from Canon” just to give you an idea that they do have amazing brand momentum in the camera space. You won’t get as many hits for the opposite)
A huge portion of Sony’s profit comes from image sensors in addition to music and video games. This is in addition to their highly profitable financial holdings division & their more moderately profitable electronics division.
Sony’s electronics division, unlike other Japanese brands, has shown great resilience against the very strong competition from China & South Korea. They have been able to maintain their position in the audio space and as of 2020 are still the global market leader in high-end TV’s (a position they have been holding for decades) and it seems they will continue to be able to maintain that.
But seriously this company is dirt-cheap compared to any of its peers in any segment and there’s various huge growth prospects for Sony:
  • CMOS image sensors & Sony’s overall imaging prowess will boom due to increased demand from automotive sector, security & surveillance industry, manufacturing industry, medical sector and finally from the aerospace & defence industry. On the longer term, image sensors will continue to boom due to increased demand for computer vision & AI + robotics. And for consumer electronics demand will remain very high obviously.
  • Sony is aiming for 60% market share in the CMOS image sensor market by 2026. Biggest threat here is Samsung here who have recently started to aggressively invest in image sensors and are challenging Sony. Sony has technological lead + higher production capacity (and Sony will soon open a new plant in Nagasaki), so Sony should be able to hold off Samsung.
  • The iPhone 12 Pro has 3 cameras + a lidar sensor. Apple now buys 3 image sensors (from Sony) + LiDAR sensor (from Sony) per iPhone 12 Pro they manufacture. Remember the iPhone X and iPhone XS? That one had “only” 2 rear cameras (with image sensos from Sony of course). Basically, Sony will be selling exponentially more image sensors as more smartphones get equipped with more and more cameras.
  • Now think about how many image sensors Sony can sell to Apple if the iPhone 13 will have 5 cameras + LiDAR sensor (I mean the number of cameras on smartphones certainly won’t decrease)
  • Gaming (PS5 hype, PSN game sales are booming, add-on content is booming, PS+ subscribers count is booming and finally PSNow & first-party games sales are trending upwards as well). Very consistent year-on-year profit & revenue growth here. They have a history of beating earnings expectations here. The number of PS+ subscribers went from 4M to 48M in just 6-7 years. Investors love to hype up recurring revenue and subscription services such as Disney+ and Netflix. Let’s apply the same logic to PS+? PS+ already has more subscribers than HBO Max in the USA.
  • PlayStation (video games in general) has not even scratched the fucking surface. Most people who play video games now are millennials and kids. Do you think those millennials will stop playing video games when they grow older? No, of course not. Boomers today also still watch movies and TV. Those millennials have kids and those kids are now also playing video games. The kids of those kids will also play video games etc. Basically the total addressable audience for video games will by HUGE by the end of the decade (and the decades after that) because video games will have penetrated all age ranges of the population. Gaming is the fastest growing segment of the whole entertainment business. By a large margin. PlayStation is obviously in a great position here as you can guess from the PS5 hype, but more importantly imho, the growth of PS+ subscribers (currently a bit under 50 million) and PSN users (>100 million MAU) over the past 5 years shows that PlayStation is primed to profit from the audience growth.
  • On top of that you have huge video game growth in the China where Sony & PlayStation is already much better established than Xbox (but still super small compared to mobile games and PC gaming in China). Within the console market, Xbox only competes with PlayStation in North America. In the rest of the world, PlayStation has an enormous lead over Xbox. Xbox is simply a lesser known and lesser desirable brand in the rest of the world
  • Anime streaming (basically they have a monopoly already + vertical integration, it might still be somewhat niche right now, but it will be big within 5 years. Acquiring Crunchyroll was a very good move)
  • Music streaming (no, they don’t have a music streaming service, but as music streaming grows, Sony Music also gets a piece of the growing pie through licensing/royalties, and they also still have a little 2.8% stake in Spotify)
  • Apple, Amazon, Netflix, AT&T and Disney are currently battling it out in the streaming wars. When there’s a war you have little chances of winning, you shouldn’t be the one waging the war. You should be the one selling the ammo. Basically Sony Pictures (tv shows + movies) is in that position. Sony Pictures can negotiate good prices for their content because Apple, Amazon, Netflix, AT&T are thirsty for content and they all want their own exclusive content. Sony Pictures does not need to prop up their own streaming service just like Sony Music doesn’t need their own music streaming service when they can just license out their content and turn a profit. There will always be demand for TV & movies content, so Sony Pictures is well positioned is as an independent content provider. And while Apple, Amazon, Netflix, AT&T and Disney are battling it out on the forefront, Sony is quietly building their anime empire in the background. Genius business move from Sony here, seriously. They now have anime production & distribution.
  • Netflix has 200M subscribers and they currently have a 250M market cap. Think about what Sony will have in 5 years? >30M Crunchyroll subscribers (assuming all anime will be consolidated into Crunhyroll) & >100M PS+ & PSNow subscribers? Anime and gaming is growing faster than movies and TV shows. (9% CAGR for anime, 12% CAGR for gaming vs. 5% CAGR for the whole movies & TV show entertainment segment which includes PVOD, SVOD, box office, TV etc etc). And gaming as a whole is MUCH bigger than SVOD streaming. Netflix gets 99% of their revenue & profit through subscriptions. For the whole Sony Group Corporation, their subscription services (games + anime) it’s currently only 4.5% of their total revenue. And somehow Sony currently has a meagre $128B market cap?
  • PlayStation alone is bigger than Netflix in terms of operating profit. PlayStation has a MUCH higher profit margin than Netflix. For Q3 2020 Netflix posted $790M operating profit and PlayStation posted $988M operating profit. Revenue was was $6.44B for Netflix vs. $4.77B for PlayStation. (and btw Sony’s mobile gaming revenue (~$1B / year) is under Sony Music, it is not even in those PlayStation numbers!!!)
  • Think about it. PlayStation alone posts bigger operating profit than Netflix (yes revenue is bit smaller, but it’s the operating profit that matters most). And gaming is growing faster than movies. And PlayStation is about 24% of Sony’s total revenue. And yet Netflix has a market cap that is equal to the double of Sony's market cap? Basically If you apply Netflix’ valuation to PlayStation then PlayStation alone should have a bigger market cap than Netflix' market cap.

PS+ growth and software digital ratio growth

  • Sony Vision-S & autonomous driving tech (selling sensors + infotainment system to other car manufacturers). Sony surprised everyone when they revealed their Sony Vision-S electric vehicle last year at CES 2020 (in-house design and made in cooperation with Magna Steyr). And it’s currently being tested on public roads. Over the past year we have seen absurdly big investment hype into anything even remotely related to EV’s (including a few questionable companies). We’ve even seen an EV company with a gravity-powered truck get a $30B market cap in June last year. Meanwhile Sony, out of nowhere, revealed what is arguably (subjectively) one of the best looking EV’s. It got very positive reception at CES 2020. An EV that you can actually drive. But somehow their stock is still dirt-cheap based on their current fundamentals alone? Yet some companies that had pretty much nothing but some EV design concepts got insane valuations purely due to hype?
  • LTE chips for IoT & Industry 4.0 (Altair Semiconductors)
  • Cross-media IP (The Last of Us show on HBO, Uncharted movie etc). Huge unrealized potential synergy here (it’s about to change). We have seen that it can turn out super well when you look at The Witcher, Sonic the Hedgehog and Detective Pikachu. When The Witcher released on Netflix, sales of The Witcher 3 significantly increased again. Imagine the same thing, but with Sony IP’s. Sony Pictures is currently working on 7 video game IP based TV shows and 3 movies. We know The Last of Us tv series is currently in production for HBO. And then the Uncharted is currently in post-production and scheduled to be released in July this year currently. If Uncharted turns out to be successful, it will mark a big, new milestone for Sony as an entertainment company imho.
  • Aniplex (Sony Music Entertainment Japan subsidiary for anime production, distribution & mobile games) had a fantastic year in 2020. (more on this later) There is a lot of room for mobile games growth with Aniplex. Thanks to Aniplex, Sony might beat their earnings forecast.
  • Drones. DJI just got put on Entity List in USA and Sony started developing drones for prosumer / professional a few years ago. Big opportunity for Sony here to take a bit from DJI’s dominance. It only makes sense for Sony to enter the drone market targeting the professional & prosumer video market, considering Sony’s established position in the professional audio/video/photography space
  • Currently Sony also has several ventures & investments in AI & robotics
  • Over the past decade, Sony has also carefully expanded into medical equipment tech & biotechnology. Worth noting that Sony also has an important 33% stake in M3 inc (a medical services through-the-internet company with a market cap of $65.5B) (= just their stake in M3 Inc is worth $22B alone, remember Sony, with their large, diversified revenue streams & assets only has a market cap of $128B?)
  • Sony Pictures has a great upcoming movie slate (MCU Spider-Man, Uncharted, Ghostbusters: Afterlife, Venom 2, Morbius, Spider-Verse sequel, Hotel Transylvania 4, Peter Rabbit 2, Vivo, The Nightingale). They will profit from the theatre reopening and covid recovery. They may even become more favourable among movie theatre chains because they won’t release their movies on the same day on streaming services like Warner (and yeah movie theatres are here to stay, at least for a while imho)
  • All the above comes on top of established, mature markets (Financial Holdings & Electronic Products)
  • Oh yeah, btw though TV’s are a cyclical and mature market and are not that important for Sony Group Corporation’s bottomline*, Sony TV’s will continue to do well for the following successive years: o 2020: continued pandemic boost
  1. 2020-2021: PS5 / Xbox Series X/S
  2. 2021 Summer Olympics (tv sales ALWAYS spike during the olympics) (& the effect is more pronounced for high-end TV’s, = good for Sony because Sony’s market share is concentrated in the high-end range (they are market leader in the high-end range)
  3. 2022 FIFA world cup (exact same thing as for the olympics)
  4. You could say it’s already priced in, but the stock is already ridiculously undervalued so idk…
You would think this company somehow has a bad outlook, but that could not be further from the true, let me explain and go over some of the different divisions and explain why they will moon:
Sony Entertainment
While Netflix, Disney, AT&T, Amazon, and Apple are waging the great streaming war, Sony has been quietly building its anime streaming empire over the past years.
  • Sony recently acquired Crunchyroll for $1.175B (it is a great deal for Sony imho and will immediately be more valuable under Sony. Considering the growing appetite for anime I honestly do not even understand why AT&T sold it, they could have integrated it with their other streaming service (HBO Max) but ok)
  • With Crunchyroll Sony now has the following anime empire:
  • Aniplex (anime production & distribution, subsidiary of Sony Music Entertainment Japan) F
  • Funimation
  • Manga Entertainment UK (production, licensing, and distribution, UK)
  • Wakanam (licensing and distribution in Europe)
  • AnimeLab (licensing and distribution in Australia & New Zealand)
  • Crunchyroll (3 million paying subcribers, 90 million registered users and 50 million social media followers)
* Why anime matters:

Anime growth
“The global size is expected to reach USD 36.26 billion by 2025, registering a CAGR of 8.8% over the forecast period, according to a study conducted by Grand View Research, Inc. Growing popularity and sales of Japanese anime content across the globe apart from Japan is driving the growth”
(tl;dr anime 🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀, Sony is all in on anime and they have pretty much no competition)
Anime is the fastest growing subsegment of movies/video entertainment worldwide.
  • Sony also has a partnership with Bilibili for anime distribution in China:
https://www.chinadaily.com.cn/a/201903/26/WS5c990d93a3104842260b2737.html
  • Bilibili already partnered with Sony Music Entertainment Japan to bring Aniplex’s hugely successful Aniplex’s Fate/Grand Order mobile game in China.
  • Sony acquired a 5% stake in Bilibili for $400M in March 2020 (that 5% stake is now already worth $2.33B at Bilibili’s current share price ($BILI) and imho $BILI still has lots of upside potential considering it is the de facto video creation/sharing/viewing à la YouTube/Twitch for GenZ in China)
https://ir.bilibili.com/news-releases/news-release-details/bilibili-announces-equity-investment-sony

Sony Music Entertainment Japan
Aniplex
  • Sony Music (mobile games) generated $400M revenue from its mobile games in Q2 FY2020, published through Aniplex (Sony Music Entertainment Japan, “SMEJ”) subsidiary
  • They are the publisher of Fate/Grand Order, one of the most profitable mobile video games of the past 5 years (has generated $4B in revenue (!!) by the end of 2019 and is still as popular as ever). Fate/Grand order is the 7th most profitable mobile game in revenue worldwide as of 2020 (!)
Fate/Grand Order #9 game by revenue last year as of Q3 2020

  • Aniplex launched Disney: Twisted Wonderland in March this year. In Q3, it was the #10 most downloaded mobile game in Japan. (Aniplex now has two top ten games in Japan)
  • Fate/Grand Order was the #2 most tweeted game in 2020 and #3 was Disney: Twisted Wonderland. You can see that Aniplex has two hugely successful mobile games. (we are talking close to $1B of revenue a year here). It is the #2 game in Japan by total revenue from Q1 2016 to Q3 2020 and the #9 game in worldwide revenue from Q1 2020 to Q3 2020.
Aniplex has two very popular mobile games
  • SMEJ earns about > $1B from mobile games in revenue from mobile games and there is still a lot of future growth potential here considering Japan’s mobile game market grew a whopping 32% yoy from Q3 2019 to Q3 2020.
  • Aniplex recently co-distrubuted the movie Demon Slayer: Mugen Train in Japan in October 2020. It became the highest grossing film of all time in Japan with a total gross box office revenue of $380M. In the middle of a pandemic. It still needs to release in South Korea, China and USA where it will most likely do great as well.
Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE) (Game & Netwerk Services business unit):

  • We all know 2020 was a huge year for video games with the stay-at-home pandemic boost. The whole video game sector brought in $180B of revenue in 2020, a whopping 20% increase yoy.
  • But 2020 will not be just a one-off temporary exceptional year for video games. The video game market has a CAGR of 13% which means it will be worth $291B in 2027. Video games is by far the segment with the highest growth rate in the whole entertainment industry.

US video game market growth (worldwide growth has a 13% CAGR)

PlayStation revenue and operating profit growth

  • PlayStation obviously has a huge piece of this pie and over the past years has seen consistent yoy revenue and profit growth. Think about it, for every FIFA/Call of Duty/Assassin’s Creed sold on PS4/PS5, Sony gets a 30% cut. There have been sold a billion PS4 games so far.
  • 5 years ago 20 to 30% of PS4 games were purchased digitally. Flashforward to 2020 and it’s 60-75% and the digital ratio looks set to still increase a bit. This means higher profit margin for game publishers and for Sony at the expense of retailers
  • SIE has seen huge success in its first-party games over the past 5 years. Spider-Man, God of War, Horizon: Zero Dawn, The Last of Us Part 2, Uncharted 4, Ghost of Tsushima, Days Gone, Ratchet & Clank have all been huge successes. This is really big and represents a big change compared to the previous generations where Sony never really hit it big as a games publisher even though most of their games were considered quality games.
  • SIE is now not only a powerful platform holdeprovider, but also a very successful games publisher with popular IP’s (Uncharted, God of War, The Last of Us, Horizon, Ghost of Tsushima, Ratchet & Clank). This is an enormous asset, because firstly it increases the chances of success for cross-media opportunities (Sony Pictures can make TV shows and movies out of it to expand the popularity of those IP’s even more). And secondly, it is an obvious selling point for PS5. The more popular and bigger their exclusive content, the more they can draw people to their platform/service. This should increases PS5 total marketshare over its competitor.
  • The hype for God of War: Ragnarok will be absolutely through the roof. Hype for Horizon: Forbidden West is also very good already (10 million yt views, 273K likes which is very good). Gran Turismo 7 and Ratchet & Clank will also do very well in 2021. (I suspect that GoW oand Horizon might be delayed to 2022)
  • PS5 reception has been extremely good. Demand is through the roof as well all know. The only problem is that they cannot quite capitalize on the demand due to lack of supply, but overall, it is a very good thing that demand is very high, and that reception has been very positive. The challenge will primarily supply and production-related for the following 6 months and to be able to maintain brand momentum. Hopefully, they won’t push disappointed/inpatient customers to competitors.
  • Considering there’s backwards compatibility from PS4 to PS5, users will want all their PSN content to transition with them as well, so I expect them to lose very little marketshare to Xbox. Also, I do not know if Americans realize it, but Xbox is not nearly as big as PlayStation in the rest of the world as it is in the USA. PlayStation just has global brand power that Xbox just doesn’t have, so Xbox isn’t much of threat at all I’d say. Where I live, in Belgium, In Europe everyone is talking about the PS5, nobody really seems to care about Xbox Series S/X that much. Comparing PlayStation to Xbox in terms of mindshare is like comparing Apple to Motorola (not meant to be a diss to Motorola, I have a Motorola phone myself, just saying that Xbox has significantly less mindshare / brand power in Europe).
  • SIE is likely working on PSVR 2, this could be big.
  • Sony has a small stake in Epic Games (1.4%) and they have a good business relationship with them, so this might also make them open to release first-party games on Epic Games Store after exclusivity period on PS5.
  • Remember the Travis Scott concert in Fortnite? I believe that was one of the reasons why Sony invested in Epic Games. It serves as an example how music can sometimes converge with video games, and this can play to Sony’s strengths.
  • PlayStation also has way superior presence in Asia compared to Xbox. Have been expanding into China as well. Another great opportunity for revenue growth.
  • PS+ subscribers grew from 5.7 million by the end of 2013 to 46 million by October 30th, 2020. This is an average growth rate of 28% over the past 5 years. Considering most of the growth was early on, it will slow down, but I predict that they will have about 70 million PS+ subscribers by the end of 2023. This is huge and represents a stable, recurring source of income. Investors who keep hyping Netflix/Disney+ will love this, but it seems they have yet to discover $SNE.
  • There is a reason why Amazon, Google, Nvidia have been aggressively investing in video games & games streaming. They know the business is huge and is about to get even bigger. But considering the established, loyal PlayStation userbase, the established global brand of PlayStation and the exclusive games, PlayStation should be able to easily standoff competition from Amazon, Google and Nvidia (GeForce Now) in the next few years. So far, Amazon’s venture into game development, publishing & streaming has completely failed. Stadia and GeForceNow seem to have a bit more success, but still relatively niche. Therefore, I think PlayStation is well-positioned to remain one of the leaders in the industry for the following decade.
I'll get to the other divisions later, I figured this is a good first step.
But so far the tl;dr

Cayo Perico / End of 2020 De-Brief

Hello everyone, happy new year!
With recent release of Cayo Perico but not much else I wanted to touch base with the community holding out for GTA Online in Liberty City or Vice City, and debrief from the Cayo Perico DLC.
Even though Cayo Perico came out unexpectedly (to us), it is a small but welcome addition to the GTA Online world.
I believe that we still have reason to cling onto hope that that Liberty City will sooner rather than later, and Cayo Perico is a stepping stone to that demonstrating the map expansions are possible.
While I no longer think that we will see a remastered city come this generation of console, but we still have GTA V "Expanded and Enhanced" coming in 2021 which may have much more than just GTA V itself.

Reasons why I think that GTA V "Expanded and Enhanced" is more than just GTA V with updated graphics

  1. GTA V XB1 & PS4 versions already work fine in XBSX/XBSS/PS5. It looks and runs great, similar to a PC level of detail/performance. Why would a significant update be needed if it will be much the same if they didn't have big plans on top of that?
  2. Cayo Perico proves that Rockstar's idea of "Expanded" can mean land expansion
  3. Cayo Perico sounds like it was more a like a side project during COVID-19 WFH than something in the works for a long time. It is not unreasonable to think that Rockstar, with all their global studios now merged together, haven't been working on something big since the bulk of RDR2 was finished.
Source: https://www.gq-magazine.co.uk/culture/article/gta-online-cayo-perico-heist
  1. Why are they being so vague about the details, even to go as far as using a PS3 trailer for it... are they doing this because they are hiding something? Even being so far to be anticlimactic to take off the pressure from fans, and surprise us later.
What Cyberpunk 2077 has taught the overall gaming community lately is what happens when you overpromise and underdeliver. However Rockstar already learnt this lesson back in 2015 when they promised Heists in GTA Online, which kept being reworked and delayed until near the end of the PS3/360 generation and copped a lot of criticism for it.
Basically every social media comment was "Where are the Heists", fans were frustrated. From that time onwards they never released details until about 2 weeks out from launch for a DLC. RDR2 was a bit longer, but only because they had other partners to consider. For this they originally gave it 1 year from announcement to release date, but it was delayed to 2 years, with PC one more year after that (which also wasn't even announced until one month before that).
Here is a quote about what went wrong with Heists:
We aren’t ready to give an official release date yet, but we are confident they will be ready early in 2015. As you may have read on IGN, Heists were a much bigger challenge to create than we had originally anticipated. Early versions were simply not good enough and had to be scrapped more than once as we honed in on how we thought they should work. We’re happy to say that the pack we are now finalizing is something we are excited by and eager to release as soon as it is ready. We, as a company, have always been about trying to make something that is good rather than hitting a date. We apologize when this gets frustrating but firmly believe that rushing out second-rate content does not do anyone any favors. Hopefully you agree that yesterday’s new Trailer is a sign that Heists are shaping up nicely, but we still need some time to fine tune them. Because we need a little time to get Heists right, we are going to give you a small Christmas gift to keep you entertained until we are done with them.

Reasons why I think something related to Liberty City is most likely to be the next major GTA Online expansion to come

  1. GTA IV & EFLC is highly regarded as a masterpiece, it's fanbase is still strong - many still prefer it to GTA V for a variety reasons, so it is a good candidate for a remaster. They can always make the GTA IV car physics, ragdoll, etc. come back again, perhaps as a user configurable option. Having the map there is the gateway to bringing these highly valued games back to a new generation.
Their games always start with the map, source: https://www.mcvuk.com/development-news/inside-rockstar-north-part-1-the-vision/
  1. The availability of GTA IV is terrible. It is only a Backwards Compatibility title on Xbox One (non Enhanced), runs like rubbish on PC - performance wise (and multiplayer is now removed), and the PS4 & PS5 doesn't have it at all. Most other GTAs are available for purchase, at least on Mobile.
  2. GTA V is now 7 years old and the GTA fanbase is now bigger than ever thanks to GTA V & Online. A lot of new fans haven't had the opportunity to experience GTA IV because of the above availability issue. The new fans are desperate for a new (to them) GTA game, especially since it doesn't look like GTA6 is coming any time soon. Or maybe I'm wrong and 6 is coming soon as well?
  3. GTA Online is progressively getting new content referencing to Liberty City or content ported from Liberty City (i.e The Tugboat, QUB3D), so they are not above re-using GTA IV assets or dropping hints.
  4. It is clear that they have been taking the "lazy" route as far as making new content for GTA Online DLCs by re-using existing assets. Don't get me wrong there is still a lot of work involved, but still it is less work than starting from scratch.
But it would make sense that they will continue their more recent M.O. to re-use existing assets rather than start from scratch to save time, effort and cost.
  1. With high profile departures of the writers such as Leslie Benzies, Dan Houser & Lazlow there is no doubt going to be a brain drain. I'm sure they were working on stuff before their departures, and I'm sure that RockstaTake-Two with all their billions of dollars will be able to find other top talent to bring GTA into a new era, but this will take time, and they can get things out in the meantime. The story of GTA IV, Map & other assets are already made, so this gives them a head start to put out games while they rediscover their Mojo to make GTA6 using new talent.
  2. GTA Online is a Big Money Maker, it will make the GTA IV & ELFC remaster worth it because the remastered map will be used for both GTA IV & Online: LC (maybe slight map differences according to time period).
  3. Why did they put so much effort into issuing cease and desists to OpenIV team for OpenIV's LCinV project (even though it used original game files, no piracy) if they weren't planning on doing something in this space themselves.
  4. Cayo Perico aside (which is still quite small), Los Santos as the primary setting of GTA Online is still a bit stale after 7 years. They can't use 2013 Los Santos forever, surely. Not to mention that a new GTA release is already well overdue.

GTA IV Music Licensing speculation/hints

A little while back, a lot of music track licenses expired and they were pulled from the PC version, most notably Vladivostok FM was most affected with most songs removed.
They put in some new tracks to replace it, which wasn't quite as good but it seemed like that was as good as it's going to get.
But then they went ahead and relicensed the original tracks anyway so all the music is now restored again (about 16 months after being originally cut).
Why go though all that expense of relicensing all that music if they aren't planning to capitalise on it in a big way?

Cayo Perico speculation/hints

Not much here directly, but I have played with it a little bit.
The way that it's programmed is interesting. As far as I can tell, travel to the island is sharing a session with Free Mode rather than being a different game mode, which you can tell by seeing the player list stay the same as whoever is in the Freemode session you were in. There is no loading of a different game mode, it is just a cut scene. On PC you can even chat to people who are still in Los Santos.
When you look at the map, you are located South-East of LS (just past USS Luxington), and if you move the mouse you can get locations of LS show up, it's just the map itself which is hidden.
There is a glitch you can do to "free roam" the whole Island, or just go to the Beach Party standalone, it is clear that you are in Free Mode of an existing Los Santos based lobby.
When I was glitched, I was able to take a Dinghy back to LS, LS was visible. about halfway there, the whole Cayo Perico just de-spawned similar to how the USS Luxington does, and also the weathenight cycle changed instantly too.
When I was glitched but still on the Island, a whole bunch of functions were disabled like spawning cars, calling contacts, etc.
What this shows me is that perhaps they are experimenting with how integration with Future GTA Maps will look like.
Instead of loading a whole different game, or loading a different game mode, it could be one big Free Mode made up of all locations, the locations can not be directly accessed without triggering a cut scene, and the properties of how a Free Mode works can change depending on what location on the broader map you are in.
One challenge I anticipate is that they wouldn't want GTA$ earned in LS to be transferred to a totally new GTA Online area. It is well known that a lot of it glitched and they'd want us to start getting rich again. They have also been experimented with holding separate currencies such as Arena Points or Casino Chips. I could imagine that they come up with a storyline where all your GTA$ Cash gets deposited into Maze Bank but then can't be withdrawn to cash or moved to another bank, and in LC you are forced to use a competing bank like the Bank of Liberty. Basically LS = only get Maze Bank, LC = only get Bank of Liberty.
Cars/Planes etc. Can be not widely transferable (i.e. You MKII or Babushka holding a car has engine failure mid flight and crashes, or maybe you need to go to the Airport marker on food), and maybe some planes (i.e. Luxor) can enter on a visiting basis via. Cutscene of that vehicle but can't be saved at the destination into a personal hangar.

Final words

I hope this gives some good for thought.
Keep speculating! At least until we get some solid info
Here's to 2021.

Are you ready to become a winner in your favorite casino? “Sieger” means “winner” in German, so Casino Sieger makes some great promises from the very start. But before you register and make the first deposit, make sure to read our review. Casino Sieger is a gaming website, established in 2009, that collaborates with a great number of popular software providers such as Microgaming, BetSoft and NetEnt. It supports classic casino games, live casino tables, sportsbooks and virtual sports - more than enough variety to participate in a different activity every day.

Casino Sieger Review

Before we start raving about Casino Sieger, we would like to remind you that not every casino is suitable for every punter, no matter how good it sounds. It all comes down to preference. This casino, however, focuses on a diverse gaming portfolio that includes all popular styles, themes and variations. Whether you are a high roller or a complete beginner, there will certainly be a title or two that will speak to you. Some live casino enthusiasts might say that there aren’t enough live games, and we partially agree - Casino Sieger is missing some great live gaming shows that are fun and highly amusing.
We would also love to see more deposit bonuses that are simple and straightforward, with no special calculations involved. Still, their Build a Bonus feature provides an interesting twist to deposit bonuses and motivates you to play regularly. What we don’t like about this casino is a 10% handling fee on your transactions, especially as eWallet transfers take literally seconds, and don’t require as much work as bank transfers. 10% is a lot, no matter how much you want to withdraw - €200 or €20. Giving up on fees would be an incredible step forward and would bring more new customers who are playing on a budget or simply want a cheap, yet efficient casino site.

Casino Sieger Promotions and Bonuses

As an establishment that is focused on both casino and sports betting experience, Casino Sieger features two different bonuses. Of course, the one that is more important is the casino welcome bonus, and in this case, it is 100% up to €200. Sportsbooks welcome bonus is 100% up to €100. It is fascinating how they created two welcome offers for two completely different types of punters. And while some might think the sportsbooks users are neglected by getting only up to €100 bonus, the fact is that sports betting and casino bets operate in completely different ways, and the wagering requirements tend to be quite different.
It would be amazing if the casino tossed in a few extra spins as well. Furthermore, having a separate welcome bonus for live casino punters would be extremely beneficial for both users and the establishment, as it would attract more professional clientele and high rollers who prefer a realistic casino experience in the comfort of their own homes. Don’t get us wrong, this is still an incredible offer, worth your time and money, just make sure to read all the terms and conditions before claiming the bonus. They are located in the footer, and there is a single document for all promotions and bonuses available on the website.

Bonus terms and wagering requirement

Bonus terms are transparently listed on the website, and we suggest you read them as they are an incredible source of all the information related to bonuses. They even feature examples that can help you easily understand how to wager your bonus. While playing the bonus, you will be able to withdraw the amount that equals the percentage of the wagering requirement you played. So, if you got a €100 bonus, and wagered 20%, you can withdraw €20.
Every bonus must be wagered 30 times before becoming fully eligible for a withdrawal. Profits made by playing free spins must be wagered 60 times. The games contribute to the wagering requirement as follows:
  • Slots: 100%
  • Video poker: 15%
  • Roulette, live and table games: 10%
  • Other games: 20%
Please understand that sportsbooks bonuses have different wagering requirements due to the nature of the game.

Promotions and bonuses

Casino Sieger’s promotions are primarily focused on sports betting, but there are also a couple of good deals for casino users. There are raffles, tournaments and competitions that last for a certain period of time and bring you free spins, cash prizes and jackpots. This site is giving out €2 million in daily Drops and Wins, as well as free cash prizes in their monthly tournaments.
You can maximize your bonuses by using the Build Your Bonus feature - every time you add money on your balance, you get a code for 0.5x multiplier on your last deposit that can add up to €100 bonus. So basically, if you deposit €100, you get a 50% bonus on the next deposit. Those punters who don’t like to do the math can simply use a nifty calculator in their Promotions section to see how much bonus they can get.

Casino Sieger Game Selection

Casino, Live Dealer, Jackpots

Casino Sieger features over one thousand popular games and covers all genres, themes and types of gaming. The platform provides a great overview of all games available; all you have to do is glance over the main menu, and then click the category you are interested in. And if you are on a hunt after a specific title, simply use the search bar - it works impeccably, and the results will be there immediately for you to click and play. This site includes live casino games, classic table games, slots, virtual sports, as well as sportsbooks, bingo, scratchcards and many other games that are not so common at online casinos.

Slots and table games

Slot fanatics will love Casino Sieger as it provides an incredible selection of these popular games. What we found interesting is that the site has a special category for sport-themed slots. We expected to see at least 50 sport-related games, but there were only 24 sports slots available. Punters who play only recent releases should focus on a category called New, as it features all the latest gaming titles, and while doing this Casino Sieger review we noticed some games that were fresh out of the oven: Artemis & Medusa, Goldaur Guardians and Bling. Of course, you can always take a few spins on classics such as Gonzo’s Quest and Book of Dead.
Table games can be found in the Casino category, and be prepared to see some live casino games as well, despite them having a separate section. But this doesn’t make finding the game you will love any more difficult, as they are all organized by the category - blackjack (60 titles), poker (58 titles), baccarat (11 variants), roulette (32 variants), video poker (39 titles), scratch cards (over 70 titles), other games (37 games). The most interesting game in this section is Blackjack 3D Multi-Hand, a game that is very similar to live blackjack but isn’t live-streamed.

Jackpots

Want to get your hands on big jackpots that will turn your life upside down? Simply head over to the Jackpots section you will find under Slots, and select one or more titles out of 58 jackpots available. And while this casino doesn’t provide any information about the actual size of the jackpots, it is pretty clear they created a perfect combination of hit classics and new releases. There are even some progressive jackpot table games such as European Roulette Progressive and Deuces Wild Progressive.
However, progressive jackpot slots are and always will be more popular than progressive table games. Casino Sieger features some amazing titles like the Mega Moolah series (all the existing titles), CashSplash saga, Treasure Nile and Imperial Riches. There are also some less popular titles like jungle-themed Tanzamunni, enchanting Wild Spells, as well as Jackpot Rango, Basic Instinct and Rambo, all based on hit movie titles. The only Drops and Wins slot in this category was Wolf Gold, a Pragmatic Play title that features only one payline, in the special field at the bottom of reels. However, there are more Drops and Wins titles available, and you can find them by using the Pragmatic Play provider filter.

Live Casino

Live casino games in this establishment are provided by Pragmatic Play and Net Ent, two reputable software companies that thrill players across the globe with vibrant slots and luxurious live casino games. There are seven variants of roulette, 18 types of blackjack, five types of baccarat and sic bo, which indicates this live casino is on the smaller side. Still, this makes it perfect for beginners who can’t handle a great variety of games and variants all crowded on a single platform.
If we had to mention some titles that were fun for us, it would definitely be Roulette Macau. The minimum bet is €0.50 and the maximum bet is €2,000, but what surprised us the most is the live chat feature where you can talk to your peers all across the globe. Talk about authentic casino experience! This casino lacks only one type of live gaming - gaming shows that are most common at Evolution Gaming live casinos. Adding a few popular titles would further diversify their portfolio and be a popular choice among punters who like dynamic yet lighthearted types of gambling that don’t require a lot of attention, skill or knowledge.

Deposits and Withdrawals

The minimum deposit at Casino Sieger is €10, while the minimum withdrawal is set at €20. You can make the payment via several popular methods: Sofort, AstroPay Card, Visa, MasterCard, SafetyPay, ecoPayz, Skrill, Neteller, PaySafeCard, PassNgo, Zimpler, Trustly and many more. And while some of these payment methods might be restricted in certain countries, there is always more than plenty to choose from. All payouts are processed within two working days, and you might even have to verify your identity, but trust us, this step is essential for safe and smooth transactions. It takes up to four working days for the money to get to your bank account.
If you don’t want to verify your account, keep in mind you can withdraw only up to €2,000. Per week you can withdraw up to €1,000, and there is a limit on €2,500 in withdrawals per month. Of course, there are some exceptions to this rule so make sure to read T&C carefully. Furthermore, the company reserves the right to charge a 10% fee on withdrawals which can be considered quite pricey.

Verifying your Casino Sieger account

As already mentioned, all players who want to enjoy their winnings to the fullest must verify their account. The entire process is quite simple and takes just a little bit of effort. You have to prove your:
  • Identity, by providing ID copy or similar document that proves who you really are
  • Address, by sending a utility bill or bank statement, no older than 60 days, with full name and address
  • Banking information
  • Phone number
In some cases, the casino might request a notarized copy of the documents mentioned above.

Security and Licensing

Casino Sieger is owned and operated by Condor Malta Limited. It is also regulated and licensed by the Malta Gaming Authority. In addition to that, the company holds NetEnt and BetSoft RNG certificates which prove all players have a fair chance of winning, as no results and outcomes are rigged. You can find the PDFs of these certificates on the website if you are interested. Their Privacy Policy is detailed and provides a great insight into how your data is handled, stored and used.
In conclusion, Casino Sieger seems like a fair and reliable online casino. Players will definitely appreciate the fact it is a regulated establishment and not some shady joint from the dark corners of the web, with no license and zero customer protection. All bonus requirements are explained to the last detail and available to you even before you register, which is something to appreciate. This casino has nothing to hide!

Usability

Casino Sieger is the ultimate winner when it comes to a user-friendly interface; let’s take it step by step. First, the casino looks sleek, elegant and professional thanks to an attractive combination of black, silver and gold. All buttons are easily visible, and even users of the older generation won’t have any difficulties navigating it. Second, games are well organized in their respective categories, and there is also a search bar that works without mistake. Do you need to know more about bonuses? Bonus terms are easily accessible and published for everyone to read, so there is no guessing game when it comes to playing the wagering requirement.
Furthermore, almost all games feature a demo mode, which means you can play virtual money before your real deposit. That way you don’t risk any real money, but still manage to learn all the rules and features. Overall, it was a pleasure to play in this casino.

Mobile Casino

Casino Sieger mobile platform follows the same design concept as the desktop platform, with some minor adjustments for more pleasant mobile gaming. One of those adjustments is a slightly different games menu, but we have to admit it doesn’t affect the playing experience in a negative way. On the contrary, it makes more sense to navigate vertical tabs than horizontal ones while playing on the phone.
The mobile gaming interface is instant and supported by all modern browsers that can be set up on Android and Apple phones. There are no downloads and updates involved, and your mobile storage space won’t be affected by mobile gaming. This advanced approach towards mobile gaming allows you to play whenever and wherever; just make sure you have a reliable internet connection, and a solid WiFi or mobile data plan with your operator. All games load pretty fast, and work without any delays or buffering.

Casino Sieger Help and Support

Feel free to contact their customer support via live chat. Agents respond quickly, and even though you might have to wait a minute or two to get your answer, the service is simply superb so we can’t complain. Before starting the chat, you will have to provide your name and email, as well as type the question you have for the support. Alternatively, you can contact them via email.
These are the main categories in the Casino Sieger FAQ:
  • About
  • Account
  • Contact
  • Bonus
  • Financial queries
  • Games
  • Sportsbooks
In addition to FAQ, there are also game guides that provide basic rules on how to play certain gaming titles.

Grande Vegas Casino Full Review

Grande Vegas is a safe and entertaining online casino which offers its customers a nice range of casino games, fast, reliable payouts, and excellent customer support. Powered solely by RealTime Gaming, it hosts some of the most exciting slots, video poker and table games from one of the most famous software developers.
The online casino offers both instant-play and downloadable versions, but it is also mobile compatible and available to just about any kind of portable device. One of its most remarkable features, however, is that, unlike the vast majority of online casinos, the site welcomes US players.
The web-based casino was launched in 2009, and today is one of the top online gambling destinations for North American players. It is available in English and French, while the only accepted currency is US dollars, which is an indication of the site’s focus on providing its services to the US market.
The country is quite an inhospitable place for gambling operators, yet the operator has apparently found a way to overcome the obstacles and bring US-based players the world-class gambling experience they deserve. The casino is owned by Tigress Management Ltd. and is licensed for conducting online gambling operations under the jurisdiction of the British Virgin Islands.
It is also one of the few web-based casinos which offer not only generous welcome bonuses but also holds various promotions in order to maximize the gaming experience of its most loyal customers. Moreover, the casino promises a special, “grande” bonus for American players, as well as a wonderful VIP Club available to all members.

Software Providers

Most online casinos today try to diversify their game offerings in order to cater to the needs of a larger group of people. This is certainly a great approach that has proved to be successful, but there are still many other gambling sites that shy away from modern trends and follow their own path. This virtual casino is a great example and is one of the casinos that work with a single software provider. But this is not necessarily a bad thing. On the contrary, by choosing the right partner, the casino has cemented its position in this competitive industry as a site offering a high-quality, reliable and highly preferred product.
The software company providing the games on this particular online casino is Atlanta and Costa Rica-based RealTime Gaming, which is regarded as one of the leading game developers. RTG, as it is better known, was originally established in 1998 and over the years has managed to grow and develop, becoming an industry leader.
Its experience in the creation and supply of casino software is evident. RTG’s games come in high-quality HD graphics, lovely music and sound effects, and smooth gameplay. The games have a distinctive style, easily recognized by all their fans. The gaming portfolio of the company is nicely balanced and includes not only slots but also a diverse range of table games and video poker titles.
The developer offers gambling operators two options; as an instant-play interface that uses Flash and can be opened easily in every web browser; as well as a downloadable casino software. Most RTG-powered casinos provide both of these and this one is no exception. There are over a hundred games that can be accessed in-browser or from the Casino Client and all of them load instantly and run without any problems.
The software emphasizes security and customization and is safe and reliable and considered one of the best in this industry. As the software is recognized all over the world, it is also available to US players.

Play Grande Vegas Casino Games

The online casino offers its customers a full collection of high-quality casino games, ranging from longtime favorites like video slots to classic table games such as blackjack, roulette, poker, and craps. Fans of video poker are also well-taken care of with a nice range of titles that can be found in most land-based and online casinos. For those who dream of becoming instantly rich, the online venue also offers several progressive jackpot games where winnings can go beyond the $1 million mark.
On the negative side, there is no Live Casino, which can be seen as a flaw, considering that most casinos today try to offer as many live dealer games as possible. We should pay little attention to the lack of a Live Casino, however, because the abundance of great RTG slots is really impressive. Many of the games have bonus rounds, extra features and plenty of other options that make the gameplay truly entertaining and intense. Casino members are able to play for real money and for fun, as well, which is a great opportunity for new players to try different games without the risk of losing money.

Slot Machines

Much like slot machines in land-based facilities, online slots are the most beloved games in web-based casinos, attracting a large number of players with the promise of providing fun and possibly some nice winnings. They appeal to the crowds not with a low house edge like blackjack does, nor with the adrenaline and challenges of poker; they remain extremely popular because they switch certain emotional and psychological buttons inside of us. And for this reason, they will remain players’ favorite games, at least in the foreseeable future, experts say.
With over a hundred slot games on offer, this online casino brings players a variety of exciting 3 and 5-reel slots, as well as several quite unusual 6-reel games. You can spend hours playing the different games without feeling bored as they have distinctive gameplays, styles, and themes, as well as mesmerizing music that makes the experience even more enjoyable.
Among the most popular RTG video slots offered at the casino are the Egyptian-themed, Cleopatra’s Gold, Aztec’s Treasure, Cash Bandits, and Count Spectacular. There are also famous titles that can be found at hundreds of online casinos today including Crystal Waters, Enchanted Garden II, Fruit Frenzy, Aladdin’s Wishes, and others.
The casino also hosts select titles from RTG’s portfolio of progressive jackpot slots. These slots are in a network with the games hosted by other casinos supplied by RTG. Each bet placed on the particular game contributes some percentage to the jackpot, which is why it is called progressive; it constantly rises and can reach millions of dollars. There are several progressives offered here, including Aztec’s Millions, Megasaur and named for the famous ancient empire, Spirit of the Inca.

Table Games

Larger casino software developers like Microgaming or NetEnt have much bigger collections of table games than the games in RTG’s portfolio. However, fans of classic casino action will be happy to know that at this virtual casino, they can play almost all RTG’s card and table games. This includes several variations of an option that has stood the test of time, blackjack, including Classic Blackjack 21, Perfect Pairs, European Blackjack, Face Up 21, Suit ‘Em Up Blackjack, and Match Play 21.
There is also a game of Pontoon, which is considered an earlier version of the classic blackjack.
The casino lobby hosts a few other card games, including baccarat, rummy, and table poker, all enjoying huge popularity in brick-and-mortar casinos across the world. Players at this online casino can choose from several virtual poker games, depending on their personal preferences, poker skills, and budget.
These include the game created in 1985 in the U.S. by Sam Torosian, Pai Gow Poker and Tri Card Poker, as well as Caribbean Hold’em, Caribbean Stud Poker, and Let ‘Em Ride which have progressive jackpots. The graphics of these games are quick, colorful and more authentic than you can imagine.
In addition, the casino offers several other table games such as the all-time dice classic Craps or the lottery-like game of Keno.
Another extremely popular casino game is roulette, which despite being a game of chance, does allow players to use certain strategies to increase their winning odds. There are plenty of variations and even more virtual releases from different software providers. The two most widespread roulette games, however, European and American Roulette, are available for free or real-money play here.

Video Poker

Along with virtual slots and table games, the online casino has also prepared a wonderful collection of video poker games for players to enjoy. Since its arrival in land-based casinos in the 1970s, video poker is slowly, but steadily gaining popularity, especially among online gamblers. The game derives from the 5-card draw poker, but just like slot games, and all other virtual casino games for that matter, it is also based on Random Number Generator (RNG) algorithms which determine what cards will be dealt.
This is the only random, chance-related aspect of video poker, the outcome of the game is a result of the player’s decisions and, therefore, can be controlled.
Whether you are a good poker player or not, you can easily play video poker; it is automated and simpler than regular poker. This online casino has a wide range of video poker versions, starting with the classic Jacks or Better game, which does not differ much from classic draw poker. Players can also place bets on Aces and Eights, Deuces Wild, Seven Deuces, All American, Joker Poker, Double Double Bonus Poker, and more.
There are versions featuring the so-called Wild Cards, which can substitute for any other card from the deck, while other video poker games offer higher payouts for certain winning combinations.
For more excitement, the casino has added a few multi-hand video poker variations, where you can bet on up to 52 hands simultaneously. While they bring fun and more opportunities for hitting a winning combination, these games will also make you spend more on a single round. This is why multi-hand video poker is recommended for more experienced players who are able to employ successful strategies when playing.

Supported Devices

As an RTG-powered gambling site, the online venue offers downloadable casino software, which is the standard casino from this developer. It is available for free download from the site. There is a large Download section and you will have the installation file on your PC or MAC just a few seconds after you click the Download button. Once the installation is complete, you can log in or register an account, make a deposit into your balance and start playing for real money.
You can also choose the Play for Fun mode if you wish to first explore the casino games and learn all the basics.
Alternatively, you can open the casino directly in the browser of your computer. All modern Internet browsers are supported, including Firefox, Chrome, Edge, Opera, Safari, etc. The Flash Casino lobby can be found in the section called Instant Play and it features even more games than the Casino Client. This is quite unusual, but the RTG’s instant-play platform is also rather exclusive and offered only at several other online casinos.
The site is optimized for mobile play, too. It is available on various touch devices, including iPhone, iPad, and Android phones and tablets. There is no need to download a separate application; the Mobile Grande Vegas Casino is accessible through the browser of your portable device. Its design and layout are almost the same as the original, desktop casino, so players who open it for the first time will be able to easily browse through its sections.
All of the casino’s functionalities are preserved in the mobile version, as well. Users will be able to register, play their favorite games, make deposits, and request withdrawals.
As expected, the mobile gaming collection is smaller than the offerings in the desktop casino. Still, players will have a great choice of games on their phones or tablets, including numerous slots, over a dozen video poker games, as well as several classic table games like blackjack, poker, and roulette.

Grande Vegas Casino Bonuses and Promotions

The promotions here are quite attractive to both new and existing players, allowing them to play their favorite games much longer or for free. Let us start with the Welcome Bonus, which, despite being nothing particularly exceptional, is still very generous.
There are qualifiers/wagering requirements that come attached with the bonus, so be sure to determine what they are prior to making a deposit.
In order to qualify for the bonus, players first need to either download the casino software or open the Flash Casino. After registering a real money account, they need to go to the Redeem Coupon section of the Cashier page of the casino and enter the code for the respective bonus they wish to receive. The coupon codes can be seen in the Promotions section of the online casino.
One condition regarding deposit and no-deposit bonuses players need to take into consideration is that not all games contribute towards the playthrough requirement.
The list of promotions at the online casino is quite long with plenty of other bonuses given on a regular basis.
There are many other special offers like cashback bonuses, extra spins giveaways, reload bonuses, as well as slot tournaments. In addition, the casino has a great Loyalty Program and players are automatically enrolled when they open an account.

Grande Vegas Casino Payment Methods

There is one significant inconvenience, which is that international players will need to use US dollars if they want to play for real money at this particular online casino. This is the only accepted currency, which could be explained by the casino’s dedication to its American customers. The offered methods for making deposits and withdrawals are also quite limited compared to the wide range of banking options provided by many other online casinos.
The casino allows deposits to be made using credit and debit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Diners Club International), digital wallets (Neteller, Skrill, and EcoPayz), the prepaid Paysafecard, different money transfer services (Western Union, MoneyGram), and wire transfers. The casino does not have any processing fees for the transfers and the deposit should appear almost instantly in your account balance.
When it comes to withdrawing your winnings from the casino, you have several options, but you should know that there is a pending period of up to 48 hours for every withdrawal. Also, financial transactions are not processed during the weekends. If you use a credit card (with the exception of MasterCard, as the card issuer does not allow withdrawals from casinos), the withdrawal will be completed within 3 to 7 business days.
If you retrieve your winnings to your e-wallet, they will be transferred within 24-72 hours. Wire transfers usually take between 5 and 10 business days to complete, while if you are receiving the payout via a courier check, you can expect it in at least 3 weeks. Sometimes, checks would arrive in over a month, which makes them a less preferred payment method.
There are certain deposit and withdrawal limits (maximum and minimums) players need to consider before registering an account here as well.

Grande Vegas Casino Customer Support

When choosing a suitable online casino, players always look for the game offerings and the withdrawal times, but another very important factor that needs to be taken into account is the customer support. A good support team will be able to answer all your questions and provide assistance if you encounter any sort of a problem. You will also want timely responses.
Looking at all this, we can say that the support here is really excellent. The casino interface and support are available not only in English but in French, as well. The support agents can be contacted 24/7 via email or even better, via the Live Chat, where they will answer your query you within a few minutes. There is also a toll-free phone number for US-based players, as well as an international line for the rest of the world.
If you feel all these are not convenient enough for you, you can also call the support via Skype; it's quick, easy and free of charge.
When it comes to the support agents, they are experienced, knowledgeable and very efficient, and are ready to assist you with anything you need. The professional, timely support service, here will definitely make your stay at the online casino more comfortable and enjoyable.

Licensing and Restricted Countries

The virtual is owned and operated by Tigress Management Ltd., which is not one of the large gambling operators, but it is well-known in the industry as a safe and reliable partner. It is registered and licensed under the jurisdiction of the British Virgin Islands and is one of the few options for US-based players. Due to the strict regulations in the country, residents are accepted by only a small fraction of the online casinos today.
Here, however, they can play their favorite games for real money without having to worry about their safety over the web. The casino utilizes SSL encryption in order to protect its customers’ personal and banking data. All financial transactions are encrypted and perfectly safe.
There are, however, certain regional and country restrictions when it comes to real-money wagers at the casino. Currently, the virtual casino does not allow registrations to be made from several states and these are New York, Kentucky, Washington State, Maryland, New Jersey, Louisiana, and Missouri. It also does not accept players from countries and regions where offshore online gambling is prohibited by law.

Three Illegal/Underground Tavern Ideas for Your 5E Campaign.

The idea behind these taverns is that they are illegal and exist in the underground of large cities. They can be ran by thieves’ guilds, shady businessmen, corrupt officials, etc.
Patrons might be criminals, risk-takers, gamblers, thrill-seekers, adventurers, spies, bounty hunters, and so on.
Maybe your PCs have learned that their target/targets will be at one of these locales at a certain time, or maybe they have business of their own. Anyways, I hope you enjoy these three unique, illegal tavern ideas.
The Sunken Labyrinth: For an illegal, underground establishment, it is a classy place. The entrance is guarded by a pair of jet black Minotaurs (MM pg. 223) named Dolothrius and Vangrios. Entry is granted by a well-known patron’s valid invitation, or by the password of the day. The door is banded, riveted metal, and heavy. It has 18 AC and 40 HP if the PCs try to break it down. The Sunken Labyrinth is a tavern where secret meetings, negotiations, and deals can take place. Valuable information can be passed here due to a ward against scrying eyes permeating the tavern. Those who wish to enter with force will find it difficult as they will have to pass through a maze that is dark and littered with traps. Maybe your PCs have learned that their target/targets will be here at a certain time, or maybe they have business of their own here.
If the PCs have the password, or a valid invitation, they can present it to the Minotaur guards. One of the Minotaurs will walk behind a wall, obscured to the PCs, to operate a series of small levers in a specific pattern. Then, he will operate a larger main actuating lever. Once complete, a safe, straight path to the tavern proper is created.
Once the Minotaur guard finishes operating the levers (or if the PCs successfully operate the levers), the sound of sliding stone can be heard behind the door, and then the door swings open. A pathway straight into the tavern is available. The pathway goes straight through a series of walls that resemble a small labyrinth. Straying off that path could lead to danger.
If the PCs get through the metal door without operating the levers correctly, they will have to navigate the maze to reach the Sunken Labyrinth tavern. View the image of the maze and read the following numerical descriptions to see what happens at those locations. Feel free to adjust these how you see fit. Use the link to the image below to follow the descriptions.
https://imgur.com/S2sQALi
1.) A ten foot long hallway leads to the banded metal door. A DC 12 Wisdom perception check will reveal that a portcullis is embedded in the ceiling at the entrance of the hallway, and several small holes line the ceiling all the way to the door. As long as the PCs have the proper password, or a valid invitation, they can pass safely to the tavern. If the PCs attempt to operate the levers, it will require three successful skill checks. The first is a DC 17 Intelligence investigation check to study the levers and determine which levers to operate and in which order. The second skill check is a DC 17 Dexterity check to align the levers in the correct positions. The final check is a DC 15 strength check to operate the large main actuating lever.
If the PCs fail any of the skill checks, a portcullis drops down from the ceiling and traps anyone standing between the metal door and the portcullis. The portcullis can be lifted with a DC 18 Strength athletics check. Once the portcullis is dropped, poison gas (Essence of Ether pg. 258 DMG) discharges from the holes in the ceiling and fills the hallway. A DC 15 Constitution saving throw is required for any creature in the hallway. On a failure, the creature is poisoned for 8 hours and is unconscious.
2.) This area is a trapdoor pit. It requires a DC 14 Wisdom perception check, or Intelligence investigation check to notice. If activated, a DC 12 Dexterity saving throw is needed, or the creature falls 20 feet and takes 2d6 bludgeoning damage.
3.) A DC 13 Wisdom perception check or Intelligence investigation check is needed to recognize a pressure plate in the floor in this location and small holes in the eastern wall. If activated, darts shoot from the holes requiring a DC 13 Dexterity saving throw, taking 2d4 piercing damage and 1d6 poison damage on a failed save and half as much on a success.
4.) A DC 13 Wisdom perception check or Intelligence investigation check is needed to notice holes in the ceiling at this location and a pressure plate in the floor. Metallic points can be seen recessed in the holes if the light hits just right. If it goes unnoticed, a DC 13 Dexterity saving throw is needed to avoid the spikes that drop down. On a fail, a creature takes 2d6 piercing damage.
5.) At this location, a DC 13 Wisdom perception check or Intelligence investigation check will reveal a pressure plate and a narrow five foot slit/track in the floor and ceiling that runs east and west. If it goes unnoticed, when a creature activates the plate, the wall marked with arrows will slide to the west and connect to the other wall there. A creature must make a DC 13 Dexterity saving throw to avoid being shoved into a sealed room. On a fail, the creature is trapped inside. Acid pours from holes in the ceiling. A creature trapped inside will take 2d6 acid damage as there is no means to avoid it. The floor and walls are scarred from previous acid damage. A DC 15 Strength check is needed to push the wall back open. If a creature makes the save to avoid this trap, they may hear acid sizzling on the other side of the wall.
6.) At this location, a DC 15 Intelligence investigation check is needed to notice a Glyph of Warding (pg. 245 PHB) discretely inscribed on the stone floor. If triggered, a DC 15 Constitution saving throw is needed as the glyph releases a Shatter spell (pg. 275 PHB). On a fail, the creature takes 3d8 thunder damage, or half as much on a success. The Glyph of Warding spell ends once it is triggered.
7.) The walls and floors of these two marked locations are covered in mimic hide. The hide resembles the same stone used to make the walls, floors, and ceilings of the maze. It is indistinguishable. A creature that enters this area must make a DC 13 Strength saving throw or become restrained. Once restrained, a creature can continue making this saving throw at the end of each of their turns but it will be at disadvantage.
8.) Here, a DC 15 Intelligence investigation check is needed to identify a Glyph of Warding is discretely inscribed on the stone floor. If the glyph is triggered, a DC 15 Dexterity saving throw is needed to avoid the brunt of the damage of a Fireball spell (pg. 241 PHB) that is released. On a fail, a creature takes 8d6 fire damage, or half as much on a success.
9.) A DC 15 Intelligence investigation check is needed to locate a Glyph of Warding spell discretely inscribed on the stone floor. If the glyph is triggered, an Animate Dead spell is released at 5th level. At each location with a star, a corpse becomes a zombie (pg. 316 MM) and attacks the nearest living creature. On a successful Investigation check, the creature can skip over the glyph, and will discover the three rotten corpses. Nothing of value is on them.
10.) This location is concealed by an illusory wall that perfectly resembles its surroundings and appears as a dead end. A DC 15 Intelligence investigation check will reveal the illusion. Interacting with the illusory wall will also reveal it for what it is.
If the PCs reach the tavern, it is dimly lit and quiet. Tables are partitioned for privacy. Four Minotaurs work as tavern guards/bouncers here. The proprietor is a Minotaur Labyrinth Keeper (pg. 267 Creature Codex) named Lubanias the Pathfinder, who often visits his guests to make sure their needs are satisfied.
To exit, a main actuating lever within the tavern can be operated to allow safe passage once more.
Two human females (commoners) work as tavern maids. An older dwarven male (commoner) tends the bar professionally, and a half-orc male (commoner) prepares delicious meals.
This tavern can handle around 25 customers. Much more than that and privacy becomes an issue.

The Captive Crowd: The Captive Crowd is a highly-entertaining, albeit illegal, tavern to frequent. To enter this secretive locale, you must pay a fee of 15 GP per person to the Goliath veteran (pg. 350 MM + Stone’s Endurance), Haruul, at the door. Once the fee is paid, you are gifted thick plugs of cotton and are instructed to place them in your ears.
When the door is opened, a new patron can faintly make out singing. The tavern room is large and square. Tables line the outer edges of the tavern. The middle is open and a cage hangs from the ceiling 10 feet high off the ground. Inside, a trio of Harpies are prodded to sing. When one harpy has tired, the next one is forced to continue the song. A female half-elf swashbuckler (pg. 217 VGtE) named Jiolli prods them ruthlessly from a raised platform nearby. The harpies are not happy, and would love to shred the flesh of the bones of the people below, sometimes attempting to use their long, bird-like talons to snatch, but to no avail. Below the cage are those patrons who have removed their cotton earplugs to let the enrapturing, seductive, harpy song sweep them away, wandering like mindless zombies beneath the cage. They are lost to the world, and it would be easy to rob them blind if it weren’t for the ten vigilant enforcers (bandit captains pg. 344 MM) who keep a close eye on the charmed and uncharmed patrons.
Those who partake in the Harpy’s song do so for the pleasure they feel, and the total relaxation their bodies receive. Strangely, a side effect of being charmed by these monstrosities for a minimum of 30 minutes is like receiving 8 hours of rest.
When not ready to succumb to the song, or “take the walk” as it referred to here, the patrons maintain hearing protection. They use hand signals and written word to convey their orders from the menu, or to communicate their intentions.
One of the other things that make this tavern illegal is the menu. Imported, exotic animals can be consumed here. One might see a large constrictor snake curled up on a table - baked, sectionalized, and propped up in a pose with a non-native fruit in its mouth. A special glaze dribbled all over the fleshy serpent tenderloins, and colorful vegetables and fruits decorate the tray around it.
On another table might be a giant spider hanging from a fake web strand, flame broiled and crispy. Herbs and spices from some other land make this monster quite tasty. Don’t think you can eat spider? Let the harpy song change your mind. A few minutes in the song’s embrace can do wonders. A friend or companion will have to plug your ears when it’s time to eat to bring you back to reality, and the table.
As enrapturing as the Harpy song is, it can be much more so when certain drugs are inhaled before you “take the walk”, and of course, those drugs can be purchased here. For 15 GP more, your table can include a hookah bar. An illegally imported, mind-altering plant called Hexweed is the go-to drug to smoke here.
The owner of the Captive Crowd is the half-elf brother of Jiolli, named Simmon (master thief pg. 216 VGtE.) Jiolli and Simmon may also be members of your campaign’s thieves’ guild. Perhaps they have information your PCs need.
The rest of the employees are commoners: 5 busy tavern maids, two cooks. This tavern can hold 80 or so customers. 120 if packed.
Once you are finished here, keep your earplugs in case you want to return (and you will), or throw them away. Nobody wants to reuse those.

The Basilisk Den: Do your PCs like to gamble? The patrons of the Basilisk Den sure do. On the left side of the entrance to this illegal casino tavern, a statue of a frightened Halfling male holds a sign that says, “Well, that could have gone better.” A DC 12 Wisdom perception check will reveal that there are no chisel marks on this statue. Either it is from some kind of poured mold, or it was a real person. (It was a real person.)
A perceptive werewolf in human form (pg. 211 MM) named Victor stands on the other side of the entrance, taking weapons for storage. He’s good at sniffing out weapons that sneaky patrons might try to hide. Once approved, Victor can give the “knock” that signals entry is granted.
Upon entry, it is immediately noted that statues are a common theme throughout the tavern, even up on the 2nd and 3rd floors. They are all in strange, awkward poses. Some with expressions of fear, some surprise, and some with defiance. Some are falling backwards, others on the ground appearing to crawl away from something, some standing in a fighting stance, and strangely, one of them is simply smiling.
All sorts of gambling, and games of chance take place here. Cards, dominoes, bone dice, ten-finger pinfinger (game where you stab a knife between your ten fingers five times as fast as possible, switching the blade from hand to hand), you name it, it’s here. Musicians play upbeat music to liven the atmosphere. But, when the song changes to a slow, yet intense tune, the crowd knows that someone is about to Face the Basilisk. It’s a game of chance that is exactly what the name describes. People from all walks of life come to take this challenge. It is a high risk, high reward game. Pay 50 GP, receive 5 times that if you succeed. But if you fail, you, a friend, or family member better have at least 500 GP for a cleric to restore you back to your fleshy self. If not, you will become a permanent fixture at this fine establishment.
When someone is ready to Face the Basilisk, the music begins playing, alerting the patrons of what is about to happen. As the challenger approaches the Basilisk enclosure, the music intensifies, and the crowd gathers, positioned in such a way to not be in the Basilisk’s view. The basilisk handler slides open a hatch, revealing the monster behind bars, but plenty visible nonetheless. The challenger must make a DC 12 Constitution saving throw or become petrified (they don’t get a second chance in this instance). The music comes to a crescendo then either becomes celebratory, or melancholy depending on the outcome. Should a contestant have second thoughts and avert their eyes, they forfeit their money.
There are those on their last leg who scrounge up all that they own to get the coin and gamble it all on this game of chance. There are those who are rich, and can afford to lose, and also afford to be restored afterwards. There are adventurers who have faced these beasts in the wild, and aren’t afraid to do it in this setting. There are statues everywhere.
The owner of the Basilisk Den is a cambion (pg. 36 MM) named Heridan, disguised as a handsome human named Brint Valotriss. He walks the floors, checking on his guests, sometimes offering a free round of drinks to certain tables, or dropping a silver or two on a table to help “up” a patron’s bet. He basks in the chaos and misery his casino tavern brings, but also gets a kick out of those who strike it big.
There are eight bar maids (commoners) who serve the customers their food and drink, four cooks (commoners), two bartenders (commoners), and twenty floormen (thugs pg. 350) who patrol the tavern watching for cheaters. The floormen are supervised by a large half-orc (veteran pg. 350 MM + Relentless Endurance) known as The Green Ox. Some call him “Grox” for short. He’s starting to come around to that name.
The Basilisk Den can hold up to 250 customers. 300 if packed.

DM wants to tell his story

Hello everyone. This is a story about me, the DM, his wife and two other players. I joined an existing group who played through the first story arc, but one of their players had to move away and they wanted a replacement. The Story pitch in the Facebook Group sounded interesting, but I didn't know any of the people or the system I would be playing with.
It was a Traveller Sci-Fi Campaign and my character was the Security Chief of the Spaceship the others hired as transport. The Captain and the rest of the small crew of the ship were NPCs. One thing I noticed early was, that the DMs wife showed clear signs of being a Murder-Hobo. She deliberately risked damaging the spaceship and when the Captain sent me (the Security Chief) to make that doesn't happen, she came close to just shoot my character to stick it to the captain.
Despite that, the first few months went really well. We encountered an unknown alien race that threatened even the most advanced races. Our Engineer and the Scientist (DMs Wife) had a blast trying to figure something out, but failed. Our technology was to low tech, the DM said. After another fight, which we barely survived, we came to an outpost that was preparing to be attacked by these aliens and we were stuck there.
This is the point where everything starts to fall apart. At the beginning of the next session I was 15 minutes late. And when I joined, the DM explained to me that the others decided to go onto the Outpost. He then asked me what my character would do. As Security Chief, I figured I would stay on board of the Ship. Especially with an upcoming battle. His reaction was "great, in that case you can go home now, because you won't have anything to do today." - I changed my mind and said that my character could probably use some time off the ship, so I was included into the away team.
We walked around this outpost and were told that they already won one assault of this unknown Enemy, so they didn't worry about the upcoming attack. The scientist (DMs Wife) looked for a laboratory, so she could figure out what this Enemy was and how to best fight it / defeat it. The Scientist NPCs on this Outpost refused to let her enter the Lab and said that they have enough people and research samples to do that on their own. I tried to contact the military leaders, but was told that they didn't have time for me. I could join the defense forces, but I wouldn't get any superior weapons, training or infos about the last attack. And that I should go and be merry before the next attack happens.
In fact, every Info we got from the DM was, that no one was worried and we weren't allowed to do what our characters were good in to help the situation. At some point the DM even refused to let us make a check if we succeed and just shut us down with "you can't do that". We had absolutely no idea what we could do, nothing was allowed or "wouldn't work". So our reaction was at one point "is there a casino in this outpost?" There was and our Characters spend the first evening winning money in the casino.
The DM ended the session 2 hours early, by saying "we should go home and think about what we heard so far and what our characters could do about it. Maybe then we would realize the danger we are in."
At the start of the next session, we met a new NPC. A rich guy who was worried about the attack and offered us to take us with him, he had a ship but no engineer and no pilot. We refused (afterall, no one else was worried about this attack) but we used the time to have some fun with this nice NPC in the casino. When the attack started, we were allowed to make some checks on how the defense was going and we were quite successfull. Until the DM explained that we were doing great, but every other part of this Outpost was overrun and that our characters would have to leave or die soon. It was the most Meta Gaming decision I ever made, but we escaped. The NPC took us in and we left our old ship behind. (Basically my Security Chief Character watched his ship and crew fighting and loosing, and was forced to leave them behind to be slaughtered.)
We made it to the home planet of this rich NPC and what followed were a short scene of "this is the most secure planet in the galaxy". We were allowed to spend a night in the NPCs Mansion and during breakfast, the NPC was convinced that there was no reason for us to hear any news or radio. It would just ruin the good mood. We managed to listen to a news station anyway and yes, the most secure planet in the galaxy was already under attack and was loosing. The session ended with us fleeing in a shuttle to reach the ship, but we were shot down and crashed in a jungle.
The last session of this campaign I missed. I couldn't be there and the DM assured me, that he would leave my character in the background, just following the others around. Two hours into the session I got a message from the DM saying "I am so sorry!" He explained to me, that my character slipped and hit his head while the unknown aliens were hunting the party and was unconscious. And none of the other players would carry me, so the Aliens got me and consumed me. Shortly after that the DMs wife sent me a message, saying that she tried to pick me up and the others as well, but aparently my character was to heavy for three PCs and one NPC to carry. So at some point they didn't know what else they could try while the enemy came closer and closer. So they "were forced" to leave me behind.
The DM appologised and offered me some boons for my next character. I took some time before I decided that I would take my characters death as a chance to drop out of the campaign. Shortly after that he announced that he wouldn't look for a replacement for me and three players weren't enough for his campaign, so the campaign ended very abruptly.

My story of gambling addiction in detail

Warning: Possible Triggers in the story below
I have decided part of my recovery will include writing out every little detail I can remember about the long road astray that gambling has caused my life. Today is day one and I am ready to reclaim my life from this evil that exists in the world, again. A short recap of the most recent events before I hit the details: Gambling addict for 12 years and went 1 year 4 months without gambling a dime before letting a $100 dollar deposit become a $10,000 mistake again. I am writing this for myself as a reminder and for others, as reading others stories on this subreddit was one of the tools I used to make it a year and four months without gambling.
BEFORE KNOWING I HAD A PROBLEM
I turned 18 and vividly remember my dad taking me and my mom to an indian casino for my birthday. I was so excited seeing the ads on TV and wanting to go try my luck on my parents dime but the worst thing that could happen, happened. I hit $400 on a $4 dollar bet playing slots. I had not made $400 all summer working my ass off, but was able to make it in 20 seconds at this casino. From this moment on, I was hooked. As everyone knows, the worst thing that can happen as a gambler is to win big and at 18 this was a massive amount of money to win. From 18-22 I kept my stakes low and would only bring $50-$100 to the casinos because of the lack of funds and I can recall feeling physically ill if I had lost it. I was a college student so at the time I did not have much money to spend and it truly was a leisurely activity until I went one afternoon and hit $2400 on quickhits on a $2 bet. I had found the secret to being rich, it was playing slots at the casino. I still recall being frugal and keeping my bet sizes from 25 cents to a $2 max due to no income and solely relying on my parents providing me with a little side cash going back and forth from visiting my parents to going back to college. At this point of my life gambling seemed like a fun easy way to make cash, I was all about that.
I graduated from college and found a very promising career in sales. I was making very good money and living the dream free of all worries. I really didn’t gamble all too often as the nearest casino was 3 hours away, that was until I discovered the world of online gambling. Then the addiction kicked in.
STARTING TO RECOGNIZE A GAMBLING PROBLEM
I started watching gambling streams on youtube and couldn’t believe how much money people would make on the online slots. I live in the USA so I only had a handful of options of casinos I could play at. I started making multiple $25 deposits a day to try my luck and had some ups but mostly downs. One day I hit big online and tried withdrawing my winnings. Sure enough, a check from what appeared to be China hit my mail and was in my bank account. The online US casinos were limited game wise and the more I played the more I felt like I was getting scammed but that didn’t stop me. I joined a gambling online forum and learned of ways to bypass the US restrictions and was free to play the “good” games that were available in other countries. I never knew if I did win whether or not I would receive the winnings but this had now turned into double gamble which made the excitement intensify. Sure enough, I won another 2k online betting $1. I remember thinking to myself, why would anyone work when you can make this kind of money sitting in your own living room having fun. Well, as fate would have it, that 2k online diminished as I purchased a total of 5k worth of gift cards to make deposits at the casino and lost it all plus my savings over a 3-6 month period of time. That left a nasty taste in my mouth and now I had debt for the first time. I had to escape this debt somehow and kept playing slots and running my bank account to 0 every paycheck. Depression started to kick in and eventually playing slots lead me to self-harm and suicidal tendencies.
RECOGNIZING GAMBLING ADDICTION
I still was hooked on online slots even though I was in debt but ran out of all of my money. Thats when I discovered I could sign up for a credit card and get cash advances. Over a period of 5 years I racked up a surmounting 15k worth of credit card cash advances which put myself in a position where I could barley make minimum payments on all the cards I had opened and have any spare cash at the end of the month. This fed my addiction as it was the only way I knew I could get out and sure enough, I would max out my cards and hit big again on the very last deposit available to me. I would go from 15k of debt to 2k of debt overnight and would swear that I would never play again. We all know how that went and would teeter totter back and forth from having money in the bank to maxing out my credit cards and having only rice to eat for the month. This is when I knew I had a problem but had no clue how to fix it. I brought my family into the situation, told them what I had done when I finally didn’t win and had maxed out all and they were disappointed but helped and gave me money. The money of course went to gambling and so the cycle continued.
FULL BLOWN ADDICT
I worked hard and was good at my job and was able to stop gambling for a period of time and save enough money to purchase a house. I had a new life ahead of me, a new house and a new best friend in my dog. I had real responsibilities now and cut back on gambling. I stopped playing online as much and started driving the 3 hour drive to the casino to try my luck there. This is where the worst thing that could possibly happen, happened. I won and I won big. I remember bringing $500 to the casino and turning that into $1600. What a rush, but then lost it all. Then as you all know the ATM trips started up and I 0’d out my bank account and decided to try higher denomination slots as a last resort. I put $1200 into a $25 machine and won $25,000. I could not believe my luck, it had to be fate. I went home that night knowing this was my new job, PRO SLOT PLAYER. I called in sick at work the next day because there was more money to be made and off I went to my new job 3 hours away at 3 am in the morning because I couldn’t wait to get there and start playing. I started small and made 3 trips to the ATM at $500 withdrawals. On the last trip, I hit $20,000 on a $2 machine. I made $45,000 in a matter of 48 hours, which was a years pay at my current job. I had everything figured out and I was going to be rich.
FUCK GAMBLING
That new savings nest egg that was sitting in my bank disappeared within 6 weeks of my new job playing high stakes slots. Cash advances and depression were my new reality. I ran my credit cards up until they were all completely maxed out and now was back to the same reality of living paycheck to paycheck only making minimum payments on my cards. I reached out to family again and they came through again for me if I promised to stop once and for all. They wrote me a check for $18,000 to pay off all credit cards with the stipulation that I never gamble again. We all know how that turned out, I withstood from gambling for a good two months then after I had a nice savings built up started playing online and at the casinos again. Within 3 months I had maxed everything out again and here I was back in the same situation I was in earlier but this time had betrayed my own family. I went back to the old ways of self-harm and had another suicidal attempt that failed. I was my own worst enemy at the time and had no idea how to stop and no money to gamble. Around this time, I was hit with layoffs which was what I took as a sign that I had one more chance to hit big and make it right with my family and myself. I was getting 3 months worth of pay in 2 weeks. Time to hit the casino and win 50k. I never hit big that night, I lost my 3 months severance pay and had no answers, only an insurmountable weight on my shoulders. I had to sell my house and move in with family until I could find another job. The same family who I also owed $18,000 to and whom knew about the addiction and betrayal. Years went by and I would have good months and then I would run up my cards other months playing online. I didn’t have any bills so I would make my minimum payments and use my checks and continue this disgusting cycle for 4 years. I felt like a complete loser and the only way out was to hit big again. I would hit big countless times online and would withdraw it to my bank account only to re-deposit it the next week and lose. It is literally the most miserable cycle and so draining mentally and physically.
ROAD TO RECOVERY
I stumbled across a podcast of Joe Rogan’s with a guest named David Goggins. This man is the baddest dude on this planet and the stories he shared on that podcast made me wake up and stop being the victim and realize no one gives a shit and only you can fix you. It was a mindset I needed as I had been the victim for the past 10+years in my own mind. I started researching gambling addiction and what I could do to stop it and became obsessed. I removed myself from all online casinos, stopped watching gambling videos, added gamblock to my PC and phone, and started working out. I bought his audio book and listened to it countless times while exercising. I had a new mindset and I was going to beat this mother fucker. The hours spent staring into a pc screen were now on the road running or learning a good habit like mediation or how to play guitar ect…. I had finally found something that worked, a routine and threw the victim card away. No one was going to save me but myself and I was damned determined to do so. Along the way, I also met someone whom I fell in love with. My life was all starting to come together and I was less than a few months away from paying off nearly 48k worth of debt from gambling. I also listened to Allen Carr’s Easy Way To Stop Gambling audiobook which I highly suggest. Well, as luck would have it COVID-19 strikes and I am working from home now which means I have a lot of spare time on my hands and no one glancing at my personal PC during the quiet times. I started watching more gambling streams on twitch and saw how easy these guys are making bank online gambling. I knew in my mind that these guys are probably not playing with their own money but the little monster snuck up and told me to go ahead and try my luck one time. I made a $100 dollar deposit online that turned into a $10,000 mistake chasing that first $100 lost and now here I am set back another 6 months. I turned back into the lying, deceiving piece of shit that I once was, only now I do see an end to all of this and know the path I have to take to get my life back. I’ve closed my online accounts, removed access to credit cards, will be installing gamblock today, and going back to healthy habits to keep my mind at ease. I already have found relief in writing this and hoping that it will help one person to stay on the road of recovery or decide to take that path. You will never win and if you do win you will give it all back plus more. Do not kid yourself. If you are on this subreddit you are addicted and you cannot casually gamble. I know this sounds harsh but being harsh is what helped me get to where I was before, its what I had to have to get my life straightened out. It is the David Goggins - no bullshit - tell it like it is approach. Get after it guys, tell gambling to FUCK OFF and beat this beast with me.
David Goggins Podcast I highly recommend:

What are the odds of VI: Online being a better Online experience than V: Online

Don't get me wrong, i enjoy playing V: Online (i just came back from a looong haitus) but some of the things in it piss me off. Flying bikes and cars (i use them for transportation but i would not complain at all if they just wouldn't exist), all the alien stuff, military planes that drop bombs and all this shit, weaponized vehicles with mines and shit... It's just way too PVP oriented and all this shit in it makes PVP way too easy. PVP in this game is ass, just look up some "epic PVP guide" videos it's just fucking sad. It's honestly the reason why me and my friends spend most of our time in solo public sessions. Going from a Ganster to a CEO makes sense and all the businesses aren't that bad. The entire server knowing that you're transporting cargo wouldn't be a problem if enemies had to
A. Drive a car, an Insurgent with a turret, an Armored Kuruma or something similar. Not jumping/flying cars or bikes.
B. Fly a helicopter (Buzzard Annihilator and all this shit an semi-rich gangster could realistically get their hands on, not russian stealth helicopters) or a jet
and if they had to fire normal weaponry (AR-15s, balanced guns) at you. Sure, they can use an rocket launcher, but they have to physically take it out of a car in which it had to be physically placed before they rolled out, and the homing system wouldn't lock itself in so fast.
The base design of Online is fine. Moneymaking is fine. I wouldn't have a problem with grinding my ass away if i didn't have to worry about an Opressor MK2 catching up with me 3 minutes after i leave my bunker with my supplies. All the PVP stuff and it being so goddamn easy just takes a massive shit on all of it.
My vision for VI: Online is this:
So, in my opinion all this is crucial for VI: Online. Without it, it will become an Griefer vs Grinder endless deathmatch a few years after launch, like V: Online. The distance between players (just imagine the fact that people will have their properties in 2/3 different cities and each city is atleast a 10 minute drive from the other one), no easy access to super fast flying vehicles with homing rockets (the closest thing you get is a LazeHydra, and you have to go pick it up at an airport every time), the weapon changes, the health/armor changes and the police would make an good Online experience. Some people probably won't like this, but it's just how i'd want it to be. I think that the map size/player counts would be possible thanks to next-gen, and thanks to Rockstar being a talented studio with infinite funds.

Will you dare read these stories?

Hi everybody, here are some stories that you might enjoy during this Quarantine time! They have been written by my students and are based on true events... Will you dare read these stories?
Scary story
The story takes place in Water Valley, Mississippi. My name is Emily and I live in a calm neighbourhood where people are really friendly. I am happy since I left my parent's house about one year ago. I live with my boyfriend and we consider founding a family. I love running in the magnificent local forests, once or twice a week. Last week, I was running in the woods at around 6 o'clock and I was almost at the half of my run when I realized that it was already getting dark but the sun usually sets 2 hours later during this period of the year. I instantly realized that I would not be able to finish my run so I called my boyfriend. Unfortunately, I was in an area without network coverage and my phone only had 10 percent of battery left. I decided to continue running to find an area with network. It was completely dark, I finally got a network coverage and I was able to call my boyfriend to pick me up. So, I stood there trying to distinguish shapes in the dark. Suddenly, I stopped breathing when I saw two red glowing eyes looking at me in the dark. It started getting closer and closer and doing inhuman sounds. I ran very fast in the opposite direction and I heard someone (or something) running behind me. I looked behind to see what it was and I immediately stumbled. When I turned around to get back on my feet, the "thing" wasn't there anymore and I saw car headlights. It was my boyfriend who had come to pick me up and when I entered the car I immediately ask him if he had seen anything. He answered that he didn't see anything. He asked me if I was injured and I said that I maybe had a sprained ankle. We went to the hospital where the doctor said that my ankle was badly sprained. After some research, I have deduced that "the thing" was a wendigo because the night has fallen faster than usual, it happened in the woods and there were inhuman sounds. Next time I'll be running I won't take the same path. I don't recommend you to run at night all alone in the woods.
When I was 16, I was living in Kos which is an island in Greece. I was living there with my father and my little brother. I don’t know my mother very well because she died when I was young but I never knew what happened. As a family, we used to go fishing because my father had a small fishing boat. It was amazing and we always wanted to go fishing but my father could only go on weekends with us because he worked during the week and he didn’t want to go there at night.
When I didn’t go to the sea with my father on weekends, I was spending my time with young people in my village. We played on the dike, we biked and we played PS2. A Saturday evening, I was going home with my friends and we didn’t really know what to do. Passing in front of my fishing boat, my friends had the fabulous idea to use it. Unfortunately, I disagreed because my father had advised me against it especially when my stupid brother was with us. I don’t know how but my friends managed to convince me and we used the boat. Our plan was just to make a one hour trip. After 15 minutes of sailing, we saw a small cave. I didn’t want to go in because I’m claustrophobic, but all of my friends were determinate to explore it. That’s why my friends decided to go in while I was staying at the entrance with my little brother who was really frightened. I let my brother play on my phone while I was watching the time go by and waiting impatiently for the return of my friends. My little brother is very clumsy and he dropped my Phone into the water. He immediately dived to recover it without even asking my opinion. I knew he could swim so I let him look for my phone because it would teach him a lesson. But after a lot of seconds I did not see him resurface. I was worried and started to panic. I decided to dive to look for him but I didn’t see anything under water because I’m myopic. The only thing I saw was the strange shadow of a woman. After I rised to the surface, I yelled at my brother but the only answer was a woman’s laugh. When my friends came back, I was crying and totally disoriented. They asked me what happened but I was too shocked to tell anything. They immediately called for help when they understood that my brother was missing. They kept looking for him for 2 weeks but the only thing they found was his necklace. Since I was young, I think it was the first time I saw my father cry. He decided to leave the island and never come back. For my eighteenth birthday he told me how my mother died. The strange fact is that my brother and her disappeared at the same place and my father and I heard the same sound. Legend says that mermaids lived in these waters.
The cyberspace legend
It has been said for decades that computers and technology will surpass us and even kill us. However, do you know if it is true or not ? Maybe the cyberspace legend can put you in the picture.
The story takes place more than 20 years ago in an office of the left tower of the twin towers, a young man on an internship in economics went to the computer room. He started working and, after half an hour, he left his computer but Internet Explorer was open. After his lunch break, he came back and went to the https//:travail.d.anglais.com/Pict page. The young man visited it as a normal page but did not know what was going to happen to him.
A few days after, the young man returned to his session and when he turned it on, it began to do weird things like opening various applications at the same time, writing green messages on a black background,... The young man found this weird and decided to turn the session off but each time it went off, it turned on again. He then thought of unplugging the computer but each time he approaches the plug, he received an electric shock. While the young man was trying to unplug the cable, he noticed that the PC next to it started to light up and had the same problem. The young man worried and called his friend who was a geek. He thought it was the best idea to save his internship. But, in doing so, he didn't know he was going to lose a loved one.
An hour later, his friend arrived at the tower and he joined him in the computer room. He looked at the PC and wondered how he was going to solve the problem. He started by trying to enter the basic lines of code against viruses, but it did not work so he tried a more complex code which should have had an effect, but did not. His friend had been trying different things for half an hour, but nothing worked. He began to lose patience and he furiously hit the keyboard with his hands. At that moment, he felt a violent electric shock that went through his entire body. After that, the virus had miraculously disappeared and the PC was functioning correctly.
A few hours later, the two friends went to a bar and as he was drinking the geek felt an electric shock when he swallowed. He wondered what was happening to him and the next morning he was feeling so bad that he could not get out of his bed. Worried, he phoned his friend to ask if he also had troubles getting up in the morning, but he didn’t. The geek explained his symptoms to his friend. During the all day, the geek’s friend wondered what disease his friend could have. At one point, he realized that the geek had the same symptoms as the computer when the virus was on it: weakening, poor connection and electrocution. The geek had caught one of the rare Interno biological virus.
This was the cyberspace legend that tells the story of a man who died of a computer virus.

Weird series of events in Daudzese
There is a Forest near my city named Aklais Purvs where strange events have happened. Some people from my town have mysteriously disappeared. There is an old lady in my town that everyone avoids because she’s always telling crazy stuff. One of her many stories is that she would have been taken away by the forest’s spirit 8 years ago when she was 30 but she’s in her seventies now (and there was a 30 years old lady who disappeared 8 years ago). Nobody really paid attention to her stories until recently when the story became real.
When she was 30, her passion was photography and she wanted to become a professional photographer. On the 29th of February 2012, she went in the forest to take pictures of the nature near the lake. She got off her job early and drove to the forest. She took pictures for hours then she wanted to go home but she couldn’t find her way back to the parking. She decided to walk until she found the Ranger’s office but when she found it, it was empty. She had been walking for about an hour when she noticed a voice that told her that she was trapped and that she had to follow it. She started to run thinking that she was followed by a weird man but she couldn’t find her way back. Hours later, she understood that she wouldn’t be able to escape so she followed the voice. She said that when she accepted to follow the voice, things started to change, everything started to become more colourful and beautiful. She thought she was going crazy so she took pictures. She couldn’t recognize anything. She stayed alone with the voice in this universe for what seemed like 40 years but when she got out she realized that only 4 years had passed in our world. The voice explained who they were and said that it was a kind of forest spirit who takes a woman wandering in his forest on every 29th of February. It chose her because it fell in love with her. She spent all this time looking for a way out and she found it. She is the first woman that was able to escape. When she came out, another lady had been missing for a few hours. She immediately thought about warning the villagers. Nobody listened to her for years until 3 days ago, when another girl went missing in this forest.
DANGER!
I have a good story.
It happened a few months ago. As we are in senior year, we had to choose a type of retreat and we decided to do the spiritual one. So, the concept is to walk a long distance during 4 days and to stop at different places. For example, we slept in a convent with nuns. We were a pretty small group of twelve students and a fearful teacher. During one of these nights, we suffered a kind of paranormal event. It was in the creepy house of “L’Epi” in Beauraing, more precisely at the Ardennes Street 57.
We arrived at that place at 5.00PM and the owner said that we could not enter in some of rooms without doing the sign of the cross before entering those rooms. We were tired and hungry, so we didn’t pay attention to the special atmosphere and we just talked to each other while we were waiting to go to eat in the convent. After that, we went to the blessed Virgin Mary apparition place. When we came back, we decided to visit the entire house and we just laugh about what the man said.
When we went to bed, we all felt an oppressive atmosphere, we slept upstairs but we heard doors banging on the ground floor. We started to freak out so we decided to gather all the crucifixes we found in the house to use them as a sort of protective barrier. Throughout the night, we could hear footsteps and creepy laughter coming from the “forbidden” rooms . The next morning, still frightened by the night, we decided to go downstairs together to see what had happened. Surprisingly, there was nothing special at first look but with a little more attention we noticed that there was a message written on one of the doors: "DANGER! ". We heard a voice far away without knowing where it came from, we realized that this voice was coming from an old radio and we distinctly heard voices that said "leave". We all quickly gathered our things and left this strange place. It was the strangest event of my life, I will never go back to this house again. I understood after all this that the owner's warnings were legitimate.

What happened last week to my uncle was actually incredible and scary. Let me tell you all about it.
It happened in a ghost town, in the middle of the US, where only a couple of people still live. They are about 80 surviving in this town called Atlantic City. My uncle is named Kyle. He moved there 3 months ago and, well, over the fact that he has a weird life, he is the richest and most powerful man in the area. Just as Al Capone in Chicago. He is not rich from good work but from cheating at games and he spends most of his time in casinos all over the US. And guess what, when he had enough money and was tracked everywhere he would go, he decided to build his own casino there, lost in the middle of Wisconsin. It’s not a big casino but he is making a lot of money out of it. Pretty fast, he became the king of that village. Everyone was scared of him and would obey whatever he was asking. He was living his best life: no police around, no competition. He was respected and admired.

As the town was in a valley and surrounded by quite a lot of woods, it was pretty often foggy, mostly in the morning and evening. My uncle had always liked nature so he would go for a walk in the forest every day. Atlantic City was a paradise for him; he had never been in such a green place. Before moving there, he was always living in big towns such as Atlanta, New York, San Francisco, etc. The best part is that Atlantic City is surrounded by mountains. The best hiding place! And nothing to do with San Francisco’s hills! Kyle didn’t mind the fog, he actually liked it. As he says: “Fog makes everything look scary and amazing at the same time.” For him, it’s just the sky saying hello to the ground. From the few contacts I have with him, he sent me pictures of the fogy forests and I agree with him, it looks wonderful. But I wouldn’t go for a walk in those conditions as he was doing. He was going on walks for hours, all by himself, with no backpack. He would just take a bottle of water and his phone. Not even a map. One day, he explained me that it was a game for him: walking in the forest until he got lost then finding his way back home by a different trail than the one he took to come. And the best of it: the view on the valley from the top of a mountain. I went there once and, trust me, it’s breathtaking! In conclusion, his only bad point was that he liked money and power too much. Otherwise, he was a really good man. He helped people, taught teenagers mathematics (because yes, my uncle went to Stanford University and is a very good mathematician) and cooked for some homeless person. Unfortunately, he was always asking for something in return. So, he had a personal driver, a secretary, a hairdresser, etc. After the crazy story that just happened to him, he became way nicer to people.

It happened on an evening; Kyle was coming back from his walk. It was foggy all over the forest and the town. He was walking on the main street, near the playground. Then, he heard some noises; something like a baby crying so he decided to get a closer look. He crossed the road and walked around in the playground. Nothing. So, he walked back to the road. As soon as he was on the street, the noise started again. My uncle is not the kind of person to get easily scared but he wanted to find out what was going on. He walked around the playground again. He didn’t find anything. When he went back to the street, he noticed an empty white car. The car wasn’t there when he first arrived at the playground and he didn’t hear it coming. He started to worry from that moment on. No one was in the street. Thus, me, that car literally appeared out of nowhere; no driver, no driving. So, Kyle took a closer look to the car and there, something weird happened: he saw someone looking at him in the car side mirror. At that particular moment, he got scared, the baby started crying again and the car started. My uncle couldn’t move, he couldn’t feel his legs anymore. He fainted. When he woke up, the car wasn’t there anymore and everything was quiet in the street. The night was falling so he ran back home and hid in his bed until the following day. During the day, he asked around if anyone knew anything about a baby crying and that kind of things. Only one old guy, from Equator, knew a legend about a baby killer, from his country. He told my uncle that it was a sign that death was near. Since then, Kyle came back to Florida. He is living with us from now on and he is haunted by this story. No one died yet but we are on our guards.

I’ll keep you guys updated on what’s happening here!
Hi everybody, I’m going to tell you about my last vacation.
As usual, three of us went to a cottage in the Ardennes. The street was empty because there’s only the cottage and another house that is rarely occupied. When we arrived, we saw that there was a new neighbour because the lights were on and to my knowledge this cottage wasn’t for sale the last time we came. So, we deducted that some people were there, but we didn’t care. Afterwards, we took the baggage, went into the chalet and we were finally ready to have fun.
Maxime and I went down in the cellar to turn the boiler on, but the door was open. We thought that we may have forgotten to close it the last time we came. We noticed that some garden tools were gone and footprints with mud were present on the floor. Max immediately phoned his father to get more information. When he got his dad on the phone, his dad said that we should not worry about it as it probably was the last tenants that were responsible of this. So, we turned the boiler on and got out of the cellar as fast as we could.
The first night was calm, there was just some music in the area because it was Raddadesh, a cult that is based not far from the cottage. But we never had any problems with them.
The next day, Jack and Max went to the forest at the back of the garden and they met the neighbour that was cutting some wood. When they told it to me, they also explained that this man had a scary look. It looked like he was in another world. Otherwise nothing to report: the evening went well and we drank a little.
During the evening, I went on the terrace to smoke a cigarette and I had noticed that there was a kind of red light far inside the forest and I called Max and Jack to tell them what I saw. When they came the light was gone. At this time, I thought it was a fire but I was certainly drunk.
After a good night of sleep, I decided to check if there were any traces of the fire in the forest because it seemed strange to me. After about 30 minutes of walk, I found nothing and I decided to retrace my steps. On my way back, I saw a clearing. In the center of it, there was a tree with an intriguing shape. I decided to take a picture of it. And when I approached, I saw a reddish trace on the side of the tree. At that moment, a shiver ran through my body and I decided to quickly return to the chalet. I didn't bother explaining what happened to Maxime and Jack. It was during the last evening that things went wrong. To enjoy it, we drank a lot, so much that I felt bad and I went out to get some fresh air around 1 a.m.. But I saw the fire again and I don’t know why but I decided to discover what it was. As I got closer, I heard music and I smelled a scent of burning. Suddenly, between two trees, I saw men with animal masks burning the tree-clearing. I was so terrified. I tried to run but I fell because of a rock and I remember nothing of what happened then. When I woke up, I was lying down at the entrance of the forest. I had a hellish headache but above all I had a severe pain in my whole left arm. I immediately realized that I had a hot iron mark that reminded me of the shape of the clearing tree. So, I decided to go back to the chalet and I saw a police car in the courtyard and when I was entered the house Maxime and Jack were relieved to see me again. They explained me they thought that I had been taken away. Moreover, the neighbour had also disappeared. Two months later, the neighbour was still missing and I still have some nightmares of men with masks.
